I just returned from 4 days in the Riviera Maya and ABSOLUTELY ADORED Shiseido's SPF 36 for the face. Did not clog my pores and doubled as a great moisturizer. No hint of sunburn whatsoever and no adverse reaction.

I love MyChelle's Sun Shield. It doens't smells like sunscreen, and the texture is quite smooth and not sticky at all.

Without a doubt, Shiseido's complete line. The Sun Protection Lotion, Sun Protection Cream, and the makeup base sunscreens, Smoothing Veil, Mattifying Veil, and Brightening Veil. These have incomparable textures, only a light fragrance, and all help makeup to stay on.

Well I've been mulling this over for some time now. I finally ordered the LRP anthelios XL fluide extreme 60 and should be getting it soon. I hope it's exactly what I've been looking for, but I'm still concerned that it will leave me shiny. I currently use the Neutrogena Dry Touch and I have to blot quite a bit with that. I don't know why though because when I first bought it it dried matte on me.

I had considered the Shisheido but am afraid it would really dry out my skin since I can be prone to that, especially with the retinol/AHA products I use. I guess we'll see if I made the right choice in a few days!

I like my La Roche Posay anthelios spf45,and Skinceuticals Ultimate Sunscreen spf30. They are both very nice--not greasy, not shiny, also not dry me out.

Last summer I bought Shisheido sunscreen, very dry to me, I didn't like it and threw it out.

Thanks Lithia. I hope I have the same positive experience as you. I had tried the Shisheido on my hand at the mall and instantly knew it would dry my face out. It even made my hand feel parched.

I really like Ombrelle(with mexoryl) SPF 60. It doesn't seem greasy and was the cheapest product I could find w/ mexoryl.

I really like the sunscreen from Dermalogica. It is tinted so it will give your face a nice bronze glow and it doesnt clog pores

Unfortunately it does for me. I don't know why because the first few times I used it it didn't. Now I have to blot my entire face a few minutes after application and even throughout the day my face is still very shiny. Rolling Eyes

I generally avoid chemical sunscreen as they tend to worsen my rosecea. Ok these are the four that I use regularly:

Clinique City Block SPF 25: This is my everyday sunscreen. It is a nude colour and doesn't give a white cast. However, its really difficult to apply liquid foundation over it.

Avene SPF 30: I often use this as a cheaper alternative to Clinique, but it leaves an white cast and I can't apply liquid foundation over it.

Skinceuticals Physical UV: This is my heavy duty sunscreen which I use for scorching days and when I know I'll be outdoors the whole day. It leaves a white cast and feels very greasy.

Shiseido Sunscreens: I pinched this from my mum one time just to see why she loved it so much. It is divine. No white cast or greasiness. Also I can easily blend liquid foundation over it without the balling effect. Too expensive to use everyday though.

I mix LRP 45 with my foundation, it still gives a shine to my face Sad. Whereas if I only use it alone (LRP 45), it's less greasy.

I really like Shiseido's Ultimate Protection Lotion (55). I've tried the Cream too and marginally prefer the Lotion because it seems lighter to me. They're both great, non-pore-clogging (as long as one removes them properly), leave a great matte finish, do not burn my eyes or have strong scents. The unfortunate thing, as someone has already noted, is the price.

On days I go to the gym: La Roche-Posay Anthelios W Gel 40. This absolutely does not leave any white cast and is good if you sweat the tiniest bit (my cardio is walking only, so I don't really sweat); however, it is insanely sticky and so shiny. I use this one only on days when I am wearing my hair in a bun with all of my bangs clipped back. lol

On days I wear makeup: La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Fluide Extreme 60. Just a tiny bit shiny, but no white cast, not sticky. With a bit of Jurlique powder, I'm cool, matte, and good to go.
