Does anyone use makeup with this(in spite of the whole makeup degrading avobenzone issue)
I'm just wondering if applying a layer of my jurlique silk dust is really effective in stopping my makeup degrading the sunscreen.
I keep hearing conflicting info on this subject, some say on the makeup alley board that its not really true that makeup degrades the sunscreen because the sunscreen is absorbed deeper in the layer of the skin than makeup does(more so mineral makeup than liquid)so the two have minimal contact.
I really like this sunscreen and after using it everyday for a week it was hard to go back to avene when I wanted to wear makeup,my skin looked so much shinier.
Anyway just looking for some more opinions on this subject.
Would a good antioxidant serum help counteract any free radicals that the degraded sunscreen causes anyway? |
