Hi there! I'm not so tired of the topic as I am confused I haven't used LRP, but used the Shiseido you mentioned last summer and liked it. But then there's all this talk about PPD factors and turns out Shiseido 55 has a low one . It didn't seem to matter, though--I barely got a hint of color on my face last summer...does it really matter that it has a low PPD??? Are we all going a little crazy with this sunblock obsession . I've used Neutrogena Dry Touch 55 and it seems fine so I might just stick with that for the summer, too. It's easy to find and not expensive compared to the others...especially if you're wearing it everyday. My skin's not sensitive, though, so those with sensitive or acne prone skin may need to be careful and find one that doesn't cause skin problems. I think that's why alot of people like the LRP...plus it does offer great protection...I think |

I recently used Shiseido's SPF 36 for the face for 4 days in Mexico and just loved it. I posted a products review about it. I recall that others didn't like it... at least one person found it drying. I have combo skin that naturally got oilier in the humidity so it was not drying to me at all. It substituted for my daytime moisturize with great success. My skin didn't feel "overwhelmed" with product like it usually does after applying sunscreen. |

If you like a shine-free sunscreen. Shiseido is definitely the one. BUT I find it's hard to remove. |
