"Extractions" (i.e. zit popping) have always been my least favorite part of a facial, but whatever, I know it's good to clean out the pores.
I got a facial from a new place last week and the extractions were especially painful, but most disturbingly, afterwards my face was COVERED with red marks and even little wounds. The facialist assured me this was normal and sent me on my way. But I usually have experienced a little redness in the past, so I shook it off.
Now it's three days later and my face looks TERRIBLE. Not only are the marks still around, and prominent -- evidence of some HARD pinching -- but I'm breaking out in the areas around these marks. My complexison hasn't looked this bad in months. She really went to town on my face, and my face didn't react well.
I'm never going back to this facialist, but I'm wondering what I can do about all these little red marks in the meantime? Anything that will help them look better or go away faster? I feel like putting makeup on them only going to hurt things but I also don't like wandering around town with wounds on my face! |

I know how you feel. I had extractions done to remove blackheads years ago (which came back three days later and are still there to this day) and broke out in pimples all over my face!! I recently bought a blackhead extractor to try to do it myself but I'm scared I'm gonna break out again. Well after hearing your story I think I'll pass and try to find another solution to get rid of these things. I'm not sure what you can do for the breakouts, hopefully someone will have an answer  |

| I would suggest BP as a spot treatment on the pimples. An aspirin mask may help with the reddness you are expereincing, the ACV toner may help also. |

| If I were you I would see your doctor about this and in the meantime maybe apply some polysporin or some kind of antibacterial ointment or cream to help heal and keep from getting infected. I feel so bad for you, I had a really bad experience a few years back with lazer treatment and I swore I would never do anything like that again! I had some spider veins zapped and he burnt the heck out of my skin, I still have small scars to this day from this dermatologist from hell! My face looked much better with the tiny spider veins to begin with and still regret having the procedure done to this day! |
