Hi, Lara1,

The best sunblock for me so far is La Roche Posay Anthelios XL. It has protection against UVA/UVB rays. Do a search on the forum, and lots of people have done reviews on it Smile

I have consistently used Cliniques Super City Block SPF 25 or their Active White Labs Super City block SPF 30, especially in the winter. They now have a new SPF 40 which I will be trying soon. Even though I do use a european s/s during the summer months, I put Cliniques s/s around my eyes. I have reactive skin and none of the aforementioned s/s have given me a reaction.

Currently I'm using Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 (Why they made such a long name?) and Murad Essential C Eye Cream SPF 15 and loving them. Rich enough but not oily.

My favorite is La Roche Posay Dermo-Pediatrics spf 40 spray. I spray into my hand then apply with fingertips to my face - including my under-eye area. It has a matte finish and does not migrate. Excellent protection, too. PPD 17.

I've been using Sofina UV cut milk (SPF50) for many years! It's light, yet protective! My freckles are less obvious now. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I sometimes use Purpose with SPF 15 on a cloudy day, it's rather thick relative to Sofina though.

However, I am not sure if it is only available in Asia!

i've had very good luck with the Avene line as far as sensitivity goes (especially around the eyes). some days i'm happy with the way it looks under my makeup, other days i want to strangle it. but i've never had a negative reaction (and i'm going pretty heavy with the retinols right now) and it seems to do its job admirably. (am still struggling with the 'perfect application' method Very Happy )

however, if i have a *really* important meeting and need my face to look flawless or last into evening without the telltale shine, etc., i use Sisley Protection Solaire Ecran (incolore) SPF 40. i would probably use this daily around the city if it wasn't so bloody expensive! and it's by far the best around the eye area.

i've learned, though, to wear sunglasses as well almost all the time, even in overcast weather for the best protection of all. Maui Jim makes a great rose lens! (i do admit i take them off when it rains though Laughing ) they think i'm absolutely mad here in paris!
