Hi I've read through like a million posts on acne and redness but most of the really good ones dont seem to that easy to get a hold of in the uk. I'm ok with importing something but i'd really love something i knew would work. What do u recomend? |

I suffer (more so in the past) from acne as well. I would recommend Paula's Choice BHA liquid, lotion or gel in 1 and 2% formulas. If you can tolerate benzoyl peroxide, she has a nice version of it as well. Her toners are soothing, she has a Skin Recovery one with aspirin that doesn't sting and is very nice for irritated skin.
I would stay wayy far away from her cleansers though, they are too harsh.
But, her acne treatments are some of the best out there and they are reasonably priced. You have to order online,www.paulaschoice.com. I take her advice on other things with a grain of salt, but I think she's really hit the nail on the head (no pun intended) with her acne treatments. They are very effective (proper pH to work) and have soothing ingredients added. |

Hello,
I highly recommend the B Kamins acne and rosacea products as having been tried and rue. Good luck. (The line is sold on this site). |

I guess the right product depends on how severe your acne is. I have very very mild acne, a few spots at any given time.
I use MD formulations Vit A Plus Clearing Complex as a spot treatment, which really helps to dry out fresh pimples. The pimples come to a head within 48 hours, or dry out if I've already squeezed them earlier. |
