Which do you prefer and what is the difference between Jurlique face wash cream and Dr. Hauschka cleansing cream? |

Jurlique is my fave, the Dr H has a horrible smell of beer (IMO), the Jurlique has a courser grain and I found it to work better than the Dr H. |

I too have been tempted to try the Jurlique, I think the fact that you got more in the Dr Hauschka tube steered me towards that one! |

Doesn't the Dr H come in a 50ml tube? The Jurlique is available in 40ml and 125ml. It's expensive as 'scrubs' go, but it's good stuff, very gentle and it's improved my pores no end. |

Quite honestly I'm not a fan of either. I have used both in the past and in fact used Jurlique's last night (came across it as I was rummaging thru the cabinets). For me, Dr H. was too drying, although I like the spreadabilty (if that's a word) of it better. Jurlique smells nicer but just seems to clump more. I hope I am making sense. There are alot of members here who use Dr H or the DIY version created by member Carekate. Neither one is for me, but many love both versions!

I prefer Julique Face Wash Cream over Dr. H CC. Jurlique is gentler and smells nicer. It is expensive but well worth the money. |

They both come in a 40mL tube from what I recall. It's interesting to read all the responses because I found the two products to give me the same results. I like the smell of both (though perhaps the Jurlique might be more appealing to some) but I do prefer the texture of the Dr Hauschka. The Jurlique has chunks of flowers etc in it and this gets stuck in my hair line and is a pain to wash out! The Dr Hauschka is a smoother paste without any additional planty bits I actually repurchase both. I tend to buy the Dr Hauschka but just bought the Jurlique recently when they had a GWP. |

IMHO both are similar products, but i prefer this to dr hauschka as the smell is more tolerable and it has a softer texture. both does an effective exfoliation and purifying, but i feel jurlique to be gentler on my skin.
the only downsides are the packaging (very messy and all out of shape after squeezing, dr H has better packaging) and it is also slightly more expensive. |

Soo.. in summary...
1. They both have same results?
2. DrHCC smoother than Jurlique
3. Jurlique has more pleasant smell...
Can anyone else compare? I am curious coz I love DHCC, but tempted to try the Jurlique's after seeing the sample |

I have never tried Dr H. but I do use the Jurlique face wash cream and I absolutely love it, it is gentle and effective and leaves my skin glowing. The best and gentlest exfoliator I have used so far! Besides, it smells really great too. I sometimes feel like eating the stuff when I exfoliate |

I have been using products from Primavera and they have a face wash cream and cleansing cream just like Jurlique & Dr H I find them both to be effective and the wash cream is much easier to use. Its more of a light press and smells great. |

You guys are making me want to use my DHCC again, even though it indeed smells like beer. After a few days you get used to it. I liked the way my skin looked when using it except the few cystic pimple I got from it. They took forever to go away. If it weren't for that I would definately still use it. I wonder if the jurlique would cause those? Has anyone had any problems with jurlique and breaking out? |

I use Dr. Hauschka cleansing cream and have been really pleased with the results. Although I found the smell to be a bit overpowering at first it has grown on me quickly. |

Hi razinkane! I have been using DHCC 2 weeks and I don't get any cystic bumps Are you sure it wasn't hormonal? Cystic acne are more hormonal as they occur deeper in the skin! I love DHCC feel after washing, it's soo addicting. But I am tempted to try Jurlique as it has no alcohol |

I've used DHCC for a month (once daily) and it cleared about 60% of my blackheads. My skin looks clearer and brighter. It does smell a bit weird but it doesn't bother me. Never tried Jurlique's one so can't comment about it. |

I use both, but prefer Dr H. I love the smoother texture and find it more user friendly than the Jurlique. I don't mind the smell at all. I don't even notice it anymore. |

I purchased many, many tubes of the Jurlique. I loved it. I only ever bought one tube of Dr Hauschka and didn't ever buy it again. Jurlique is awesome stuff. |

So, I had purchased some Day Oil at Jurlique back when they had their awesome Mother's Day GWP. Turns out, I didn't like it all that much (LOATHED the smell,) and I have nearly full bottle of Decleor's Ylang-Ylang and Dr. H oil, which I both love
As my Jurlique only makes exchanges, I decided to try their cleansing creme, as I am not a fan of the Dr. H one and have felt like a mutant alien for it. I've tried a few samples worth and have always gone, "Why can't I like you? Everyone else does!"
Verdict? I *think* I like the Jurlique Cleansing Creme. At the very least, I like it more than the Dr. H. Yes, it's got more of a grainy feel, more like a true scrub, which I like. It also doesn't smell as vinegary/yeasty as the Dr. H.
Unfortunately, I somehow let the girl talk me into getting the larger size, so, even if I don't love it now... I better start trying to |

I used a DHCC sample and I bought Jurlique's Face Wash Cream in my last order which I have been using the past few days.
Verdict: As said above, DHCC is a lot smoother - I like the smoothness more so than Jurlique. I find the smell to be quite similar as well but Jurlique smells slightly better. To me they are identical in terms of effectiveness. I'm not sure if the smell is worth the extra 10mL pricing (DHCC has 10mL more for the same price as Jurlique). However I think I might stick with Jurlique as it seems to have nicer botanical ingredients which makes the price more worthy - sigh, skincare can be so psychological sometimes |
