This may sound a bit weird to some of you because it might have been available in the US for ages, but we only just got this in Australia. In fact, I just saw this for the first time ever this morning while going through a mailout catalogue I received from a chemist. It sounds less messy than a baby oil (which I use sometimes to moisturise after a shower). MUA reviews look good so I'm patiently waiting for the shops to open tomorrow so I can try this.

Has anybody tried this instead of the usual baby oil?

Hi Mabsy,

Yes ... the gel formula has been available in Canada for several years now. It's considerably less messy than the oil ... but just as nice. I often use it after a shower ... and I love the smell!

We've had it in Canada for a few years now. I have used it. It's good at night...It's less messy than baby oil because you don't spill it on the floor, but it's still super greasy feeling on the skin. I haven't used it in quite some time...I'll have to pull it out from the back of the drawer and put some on my legs tonight, they're feeling a bit dry.

I find if I let my skin completely dry after a shower, it absorbs a little better and doesn't seem as greasy. I also love it on my feet at nite with socks on. Great for dryness! Smile

We've had it for at least 5 years now because I used it on my little guy when he was a baby and he's five. Smile I liked it too, easier to use than regular baby oil. It stores much better too, it doesn't leak like baby oil tends to.

I use this to remove my eye makeup! It works great for me! Also, when I'm not using self tanners (as baby oil takes of the tan) I use this in the shower to shave my legs. The stores here in Chicago even make generic of this product now. I can usually pick it up for a few dollars cheaper than the original johnson's brand one. It's definitely a great find

I have used it...I bought the lavender scented one from Johnson & Johnson. I like it in the summer. It gives you that "glow". I have never been a fan of the oil but the gel is nice. It leaves my skin a little too sticky for my taste but if you have been a fan of the oil then I'm sure you will like it.

I also bought it after reading in a magazine that it would give your legs a nice sheen/glow. Ended up only using it once because it stayed sticky all day.
