I had a small white bump on my neck for years. The first year I noticed it, I thought it was a pimple. So I squeezed, pinched, needled it, and it would get any smaller. In fact, the more I touched it played around with it over the years has only made it bigger. Finally I went to the dr and after examining it, turns out it was a cyst. I had it removed and took a little over a week to fully heal. Left a little scar but barely noticeable. |

Probably milia, harmless but annoying.
Absolutely, it's milia. You either have to have a derm or a skilled esthetician who uses lancets to get these out. Sebaceous hyperplasia is something different...it's an enlarged oil glad that looks like a flesh colored bump on the skin that has a hole in the middle, like a doughnut. |

I think you have white warts on your face same as my mom. Don't remove it yourself.
Best way is to consult a dermatologist so that they can be removed without any complications.

I have had a small, hard white spot on my face for years. I used to find myself picking it without thinking and making it sore - I could never get much out of it though - the consistency was too thick. It is not a white head, I'm sure of that. Over the years it has started to get bigger - very slowly though. I can pinch my cheek between my thumb and finger and feel the hard contents
I just wondered whether anyone had any ideas about what it actually is and how to treat it?
