I have very dry skin so I have bottles and jars of body, hand and foot lotions everywhere. Many of these I do not use but I am not able to throw anything away. I also have tons of makeup brushes! Why, I do not know! |

Because Sis they are all soft and fluffy and you just never know when you will need that specific one.
And face it you too are a junkie, maybe not certifiable like me......but still a junkie. |

About the brushes...a top quality brush will always have soft bristles. A brush will be firm if the bristles are packed tightly. |

DarkMoon: I seldom use any brushes but I love the way they look. I am also afraid of getting rid of anything because as soon as I do the next day I need it. This never fails! |

Starlight,
if you read my embarrassing list of what I have too much of you have figured out I am a died in the wool PACK RAT! I hate to part with my stuff. I am also terrible when I have to pack for a trip, I just know whatever I leave at home I will need. I do love really high quality makeup brushes I use MMU and a great brush can make all the difference along with learning the proper application technique of course! I think this is why so many get frustrated at first, I did not get it right at first. Read a lot and realized a little goes a long way, and layers work to build coverage.
That went a bit off topic sorry |

I would have to say lots of body lotions, creams, and body scrubs
As for makeup, I don't have a lot of the same, maybe just for my lips |

Well, I do not like body products very much, because there are always all kinds of antiseptic in these bottles of cream/lotion. Since our body would absorb a big amount of these products, I think the antiseptic is very harmful too. |

I don't think the ones that I am using are antiseptic, unless it's one of those scented ones from Chanel or Hermes or whatever. |

I have to agree Skincare I buy organic skincare body lotion and they don't contain any antiseptic or the other stuff I prefer not to put on my skin. I also use natural oils and butters to slather on after bath or shower, very moisturizing and completly free of antiseptics.

hi all,
i'm a chronic 'cleanser' purchaser. i love those milks, foamers, cleansing waters, cream cleansers... on and on. fer god sakes, i only have one face!
i used to collect lipstick too, which i'm sure alot of ladies here do. i don't even wear it... but when i'm in cosmetics... my head keeps repeating, 'i Need that one, and that one, and that one." i've banned myself from lipsticks. |

I am afraid if all of us cosmetic junkies got on the same boat we would sink it with all our obsessions!

Mavala nail polishes, I have 15 of them now...
But they are tiny 5ml bottles..so that's my excuse.
Eye gels or eye products,
because I always think there is a better one..I always try and get tons of samples as Ihave sensitive skin.
My criteria for eye cream or gels: has to be light for day, fragance free, hopefully w green tea or caffeine as those work better on me.
That eliminates most eye products as not too many are fragrance free.
I think I have 8 eye creams now,but they are all 1/2 used up.
Also can not be expensive
surprizingly all the expensive samples did not agree with me (dior, ysl, lancome, many more...)
The eye creams I like are in the $10-30 range.
I have no wrinkles in the eye area so must be doin somethin right |

My obsession is eye shadow. Up until a few years ago when I got the bad nose job and then my skin started kind of falling apart my eyes were my best feature. My collection is by no means huge but I have at least a dozen I've never used plus a whole gift set of eyeshadow my mom got me from Ulta. My eyelids will firm up, dammit. My big kick the last few years has been bronzers as eyeshadow and contouring pallettes. And I always find more that I want!
2nd would be nail polish.... same story though: didn't take care of hands and can't wear many colors on my hands but keep my toes, which are also pretty good, done year round. |

You know flyfly, if you were on MakeupAlley that's like, nothing!
Guess what ladies - I never thought I'd say this, but I have nearly 20 blushes now and I want more!
It's a sickness I tell ya. |

I used to buy a lot of MAC eyeshadows. Now that I'm older I don't overdue my makeup and those eyeshadow cases are just there, making room; I don't want to throw them out. I just look at them like jewels
What I collect now is blushes and lipsticks. |

Mine are:
Lip Glosses : I love pink color soooooooooo much, I bought a series of pink Lip Glosses although I did not use some of them! I have 15 different Lip Glosses!
Products for making up: I always found some box/bottle/package with beautiful decoration, I can not run away from that temptation so I made purchase again and again .... |
