I noticed that psf line is getting popular in EDS forum and I wanna try this product which I haven't heard before.
I just run out of my sunscreen and make-up remover for face so I need recommendation from you. But I don't think they carry make-up remover for face and eyes.
If I purchase this PSF herbal sunsreen lotion with SPF, I don't have to put both moisturizer
and sunscreen step by step. Just apply this sunscreen lotion and then foundation afterwards so I can save time and rush to work.
Can anybody tell me whether the smell is good or not and is it watery? Suitable for mature skin?
Thx a lot! |

I've had my eye on this sunscreen too! Any thoughts? |

Hi!
I use the PSF Herbal sunscreen (SPF30) every day and really like it! It has no smell (that I can detect, anyway!) and is not watery...just a very nice, light lotion feel to it. I'm getting ready to turn 40, so I would say this product is fine for mature skin.
Hope this helps!

I wonder how good it is at blocking UVA rays? Is it broad spectrum and would it be best for outdoorsy types in the sun all day this summer? |

Unfortunately the Herbal sunscreen does use chemicals. Active ingredients are - Ethylhexyl/Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Benzophenone-3 (Oxybenzone). I'm allergic to them |

The active ingredients are the chemicals and those two are not particularly good for UVA protection. The first is UVB primarily and oxybenzone is UVA and UVB but not particularly good at longer-wavelength UVA. You really have to see avobenzone combined with octocrylene as a stabilizer to get good UVA protection here in the US. In Europe, Mexoryl and Tinosorb are the great UVA protectors.
Of course, it's better than nothing at all. |

stardust,
Living Nature from NZ makes a coffee and wild pansy sunscreen for the face that is 100% all natural, and I am not sure what the 'proven' sun factor is of this product, since without recognized chemical sunblocks it cannot be rated, but this product worked as a broad spectrum block for me. |
