Has anyone tried Philosophy's Save Me serum?
It has vit.c, retinol and peptides. Would eliminate a few steps I would guess, but its sixty dollars so I would like to know if anyone has had any positive effects from it. |

Do you live near a Sephora store? If so, you can ask them for a sample. I only recently discovered that they offered samples (from another member on the forum). |

No I don't, but I live about an hour and a half from Macys. I could ask them. They supposedly carry it, but I was wondering if anyone had used it long term. Sample sized are good if you want to feel texture or smell or to see if its going to make you break out but with retin a and vit. c I don't think I would be able to tell if it was doing anything.
Thanks

Well, I haven't used the serum, but I've used Hope In a Jar, and it's an excellent moisturizer. I love other philosophy products (shower gel, falling in love lotion, scrubs). Have you visited their website? They really give you a lot of info on if a certain product is good for you. Also, if you're looking for a deal go to qvc.com. They have sets that are sometimes much less than the full cost of something (They recently had a full set of full size items, including the serum and Hope in a Jar, for only $70). |

Hi razinkane, the Save Me serum is my mum's favorite product out of everything I have sent her way. She said it made her skin look very firm and she doesn't really know anything about ingredient so it was almost like a blind test. I don't think the retinol in this product is such a high concentration as Help Me is their pure retinol product. |

Thanks. How would I know how strong the vit. c is in it. Do you think I would need a seperate one. Of course, then that wouldn't eliminate any steps, but I am currently not using any retinol and would like to but when I used obagi with the retinol my face was red and peeled for months. I mean, all I would do was scratch my nose and my skin would fall off and left a scab. gross. I was almost finished with it and quit. I had about three weeks left and then all I had to do was "maintain" and use it three times a week, but that darn retinol. I think thats why my face is reddish now. I may have overused it. I thought at first it was my vit.c but my face was red before that. Anyway, little but wary about using retinol, but this stuff sounds good and it says its for sundamaged skin. I'm tempted. |
