After reading so much raves about 1000 hours eyelash & brow tint kit, I decided to try it out for myself. I've found that Parnell pharmacy in NZ has cheaper shipping to Canada which is good. But they only have brown, black and blue to choose from. I wanted blue-black but wasn't sure if blue is okay to substitute blue-black because I don't want blue eyelashes. Please help! |

I ordered from there....the blue IS blue-black. Yea! Hope you love it. I do. Love not having to remove mascara at night...rubbing my eye during the day and feeling soft lashes...looks better too I think if you're into the natural look. |

I have highlighted blonde hair. I use the brown on my eyebrows and the blue-black on my lashes. I made the mistake ONCE of using some left over blue-black on my brows and it was WAY too dark.
The blue black isn't really blue, its more of a richer black. It does look bluish once you mix it up, but the color is all black. |

Thanks so much CyndiK. By the way, did you condition your lash before tinting them? |

If you have any Ardell, its great for conditioning lashes. Lucia Essence also! I use these both before using the 1000 hour tint. |

Ardell for conditioning, huh? Didn't think of that..don't know whats really in Ardell...though I use it everyday.
Yes, I conditioned w/ an improvised Carrie solution....jojoba w/ a couple of drops of grapeseed; what I had on hand. In fact I've continued using this at night before Ardell. The smallest amount of oil goes a long way on your lashes or it gets in your eyes and you'll be blurry for a bit. I know this to be true.
Yea...I would never use the blue-black on my brows....pretty dramatic look I would think. |

Hi, Just to say that when I used to tint lashes in the salon we would mix black and blue to get the blue/black colour - it works fine so that might be an option. Just make sure you get the ratio of tint to developer/peroxide correct.
