Just adding my $.02 here. I started IS Clinical last Monday and am VERY happy w/it. That is paramount in that I am fairly sensitive to additives in products - causes quick breakouts sometimes. I added 2% salicylic acid (apply it before) to assist w/pore congestion. This combination is working very, very well for me.
I also use the firming complex (AM & PM) without problem one. I apply it as so:
AM
-Cleanse (using Decleor cleansing gel, which I love-still on the fence whether to change)
-ACV toner (quick return to normal Ph)
-2% salicylic acid swiped all over
-Super serum
-Firming complex
-Hydracool (optional - normally don't use w/firming complex as too moisturizing)
-Eye complex
PM
-Cleanse
-ACV toner
-2% salicylic acid swiped all over
-Active serum
-Firming complex (optional, if don't use then will apply Hydracool)
-Hydracool (optional - normally don't use w/firming complex as too moisturizing)
-Eye complex
I am considering replacing the PM salicylic acid for Mandelic acid every other night, which is stronger and has great reviews for cell turnover. So far, I have had zero irritation from these products and I even did a 25% glycolic peel Thursday night for 1 minute. It tingled a bit but there has been no irritation at all and only minor peeling. I did use CP serum/emu oil afterward in place of my normal PM IS routine.
This morning, I exfoliated w/Epidermix II and there was not much skin that was ultimately removed; however, it feels really smooth and I think that all of these items are working together extremely well.
Add me as another ecstatically happy IS user. |

FYI, the Super serum is 15% vitamin C and does have HA.
Ingredients: distilled water, 15% L-ascorbic acid, 0.5% hyaluronic acid, 0.5% arbutin glycoside, pentapeptide amino acid, 0.5% kojic acid, 0.5% vitamin B5, purified centella asiatica extract, zinc sulfate, propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol |

Can you please tell me what brand of salicylic acid you are using please? Can you remind me what it does for your skin?
Thanks |

Hi, I use Diana Yvonne salicylic acid as I prefer the alcohol (plant-based) rather than ethanol, which is in many other brands. So far, there is not irritation or annoying smells, etc.
I use it to help clear congested pores, minimize them and keep the blackheads at bay. I am moving up to 5% on my nose, though, as those buggers are being difficult to clear.
As another note, I am considering moving to mandelic acid for further benefits along the same line - keeping things clear as well as refinishing my pores/skin.
FYI, there is a seller on eBay that sells 2 oz. pro-sizes of the IS Clinical serums. I bought through them and am happy w/the service as well as the cost savings. |

I finally caved and purchased the Super serum and Firming Complex. I am seriously debating the Hydracool. A lot of people use it but the ingredients don't seem much different from the Super serum except for the menthol. Does any out there think it's essential?
Must say, it was a real toss up whether to start the IS Clinical line or get a Baby Quasar! |

I ordered Super Serum a couple of days ago. I can't wait!
Next, I plan to buy the facial cleanser and the body complex. |
