Topical? I've read that if you're deficient in this b Vitamin it can cause hair LOSS but that is different from addiing it to make it grow faster than normal.
I googled it (talks about taking it internally)and looked on here but nothing about as a topical. I know that the Lucia stuff had it but STILL don't know if that was just part of the ad and not any real studies behind it. |

Yeah, there's a lot of research out there on taking it internally but I'm having a hard time finding anything about applying it topically. However, you might want to have a look at this link, maybe you already found it searching... it mentions inositol in the topical cream for this formulation and a few other things about it. Not sure if the link will help

"Niacin in the form of inositol nicotinate, provides mild vasodilation effects"
So it would be mildy helpful applied to the scalp for hair growth if it was mixed with other ingredients that proved to speed up hair growth. Perhaps if there was a cheaper stronger vasodilator, that could be used instead. I will let you know if I find anything else regarding inositol applied topically. |
