I have currently been using Physicians Formula Minerals and quite like them. I am looking for that GLOW over minerals. Who has used Philosophy's Clear, Glee, and or True Radiance? Can you tell me what you think of them?

Thanks Smile

Regarding the Philosophy products, might you be thinking of Bare Escentuals? If you are, I have it in Clear, Glee and Warmth and the Warmth is the only one I like and use. Light application is the trick to using it. The Glee was ok but I'm not into plum shades and I really couldn't tell a difference with the Clear. Soft Focus Warmth is a new shade that I want to try but it's already out of stock on the Sephora site.

I get a really nice glow with the Warmth without all the shimmer. At 45 I don't want all the shimmer and glitter. Even if you can get a sample it will last you forever because of the small amount you will use.

I think it also depends on ones coloring. The warth is a bit too dark on me, I tend to like colors with less orange/brownish tones, but tons do love it, so I am not slamming it just I am very fair with olive undertones and its a bit too much for my skin. The Glee I like but alone it isnt quiet right. I normally put a touch over my blush. I agree with Phredd in that I'd love to try the soft focus ones, but couldnt we just add the foundation or the mineral veil and make these soft focus? I will also add these things will last forever....hmm I feel an experiment coming on. And phredd's right its Bare essentials. Also if u have a different brand and love it, I think there all kinda alike or am I wrong on that?

Embarassed Yes, I did mean Bare Essential. The reason I asked is QVC is having great anniverary prices. BTW: They did have the Soft Focus Warmth.

Phredd,
I saw it last nite and someone called in and said they had been mixing theirs with the mineral veil and her reply was "so u've already been making ur own". So if you have mineral veil or a lighter color mix some and try that, you might save some money and get the same efffect.

I've only got BE Warmth, and have been applying it with my Fibre Optic brush - what a difference!!! Originally it was waaay too dark on my fair skin, but the Fibre Optic brush has made a huge difference in the end result.

Anya that is the kind of brush I use for Warmth too! Honestly I tried every other kind of brush and it's the only one that works. I have one from Lancome, but I mostly use mine from MAC. They call it a stippling brush. Fibre optic brushes are also frequently called skunk brushes because of the white tips.

Winnie you can look at one of the brushes here:

My Lancome isn't as good as the MAC, but I bet you could find a less costly brand that is just as good.

I do happen to have a pot of mineral veil that I don't even use. Thanks for the tip! I will definitely try it!

Hope you like it Winnie. The MAC SA's even tell me they use the brush as a liquid foundation brush, but I never could get the hang of using it that way.

Let's know what you think of it Winnie. I now use it all the time for applying blushes. I know you'll notice a difference using this brush with Warmth Wink
