Anyone have these, or know someone who does?
They are bumps/lumps on the head...
My husband has one and of course got it checked out, and that's what it is called- it's like fatty tissue growth or something. Non-life threatening...he could get it removed, but they could come back if he's prone to it.
Are they hereditary? I have to google them and see what the causes are.

Ok, now DON'T laugh, butttt...
My husky had one growing out of his forehead. The vet said we could or could not remove it. We did have it taken off cause he was starting to look like he was morphing into a UNICORN....laughing myself now!
I always knew that he had a thick thick coat (huskies have a double undercoat), but always thought the fur on his head was smooth. OMG when the shaved this patch, it looked like a reverse mohawk!
He looked like a punkster for about a month until the fur grew back!!!
The doc told us when he removed it that these things frequently come back. His didn't
If your hubby does get it removed, just make sure you have alllll his favorite biscies in plentiful supply (grin...sorrrrry). |

Ahhhh, so that's what they are! I think I actually have had one, which somehow just went away. I had a little raised patch on my head that I found one day when I used a "harsher" hair brush and felt something uncomfortable. I had it for a few months (flesh coloured) and now it's gone.
Sorry, I know this is not much help - your post was actually more helpful to me than mine was to you |
