Hi guys,
Has anyone had bad experiences with this product? While I find that it works really well to bring down existing breakouts and keep my skin clear from any significant breakouts, I find that my skin has become somewhat sensitive from the use of BHA over the past year - I'm alot more prone to dryness, red patches, etc. I was wondering what sort of schedule do you guys go on with the use of BHA - daily usage or say, once every 2-3days?
regards,
howe
p.s: are there any other effective alternatives to BHA that are gentler? |

I've tried the 2% lotion, 2% liquid and 1% gel, of all the lotion is the most gentle and it's still very effective. It *is* emollient though. I find the gel drying like you do and the texture is sticky. I put an additional non-comedogenic moisturizer over top after letting the gel set for a 10 minutes or so before hand. hth! |

I have tried 1% Gel before and it was the first (and the only one up till now) BHA product I've ever used. I started using it twice daily without any problem but I have to say that I have rather non-sensitive skin. I saw results (even skin tone and less blackheads) pretty quickly but such results did not sustained so I discontinued using it.
