| Since my dear friend Mary H. recently recommended PSF's Balancing Oil to help battle the oilies and summer and hot weather are quickly approaching, I recently ordered both the Balancing Oil and Jurlique's Rose powder to try to get my t-zone under control. So far I am very, VERY impressed with both products, esp. when used together, but since I already talked about the rost dust in a different post, this post is to review the balancing oil. I've been using this oil on my t-zone at night and in the morning for several days now, and amazingly, I already look soooo much less shiny! I know it's really counterintuitive to think that putting an oil on your face will help keep you matte, but I swear it works, you just have to let the oil soak in before you apply sunscreen, make up, etc. When I applied it last night I had a blemish I had been picking at (oops) that had become rather inflamed, and when I woke up this morning the inflammation had subsided and the blemish was healing, yay! I will give one word of warning tho--- this stuff has essential oils like tea tree, ylang ylang, and sandalwood, so it's a bit strong smelling, but the smell fades eventually--- it doesn't follow you around all day. Considering that this stuff cost less than $20 (I think the price is like $16.50...before the EDS discount^-^) I will definitely be re-purchasing!! |

Liz, I'm so happy you liked this product!  Definitely one of my favorites, and has really made a difference in keeping my face from becoming an oil slick every day!
Now I'm off to find your post on the Jurlique Rose Powder!
