I haven't had bangs since I was in kindergarten, and I'm also one (well, was one) to always wear my hair out of my face/forehead area. I received a new haircut about a week ago and it's finally growing on me. But I haven't a clue on how to keep my forehead area clean now that my bangs are down and in my face.
So far I haven't had any breakouts, but I'd like to try to be proactive so this doesn't occur. Any tips/suggestions??? |

Where a headband when cleansing and putting your skincare/makeup on, thats what I do. And dont put product in your fringe/bangs (thats what we call it in australia) if you can help it, it weighs it down and can be transferred onto your forehead.
HTH's!! |

Pin them back or wear a headband when you go to sleep (if you go to bed with unwashed hair) so any product you have in it won't get on your skin. I don't have bangs but I always wear a scrunchie to bed to keep my hair off my face. |

Try not to touch your bangs during the day(this makes them more "greasy")and if you don't wash your hair every night, at least wash just your bangs. I find I have to do this anyway otherwise my bangs don't style well. |

Oh, I love bangs! I think they make everyone look prettier, but that's just my opinion. I had bangs forever, but I'm taking a break from them right now since I don't style my hair very often these days (I just wear it curly). I pretty much avoided putting any product at all in my bangs, so it wouldn't touch my skin. Always sleep with them pinned back. But the plus side is, if you do get a blemish from them, it'll be pretty much hidden by the bangs. |
