So, I just had my serum shoping crazed....
I just received the 3 serums that I order, and I determined to make my skin better. My question is when to use these serums to maximize the results. The serums are is clinical super serum, valmont bio cellular and valmont balancing serum.

I was thinking of using the balancing serum in the summer. Bio cellular in the winter, and use super serum all year round.

What do you girls think?
Please share your opinions.
cheers Very Happy

now that you have them, you would be better off starting to use them rather than waiting for Winter to come again I think.

You could do the the Daily Balance in the AM and the Bio-Cellular in the PM. Super serum should be fine under those and would be up to you whether you wanted to use it AM or PM really...

I will be interested to hear your review of the daily balancing serum as it sounds very nice...

thanks for the reply tiger_tim. I suppose in the summer, I will not be needing a moisturizer on top of the super serum and balancing serum?

I would not think so.. especially if you dont have dry skin and your summer heat is not dry.

As our weather gets hotter I doubt I will be able to continue using DNA Repair over the top of Super Serum in the day. Whilst the combo is nice and light I just dont know if I will be able to take it.

Tiger_tim, you've got me very interested in Valmont Bio Cellular. Do you think you can use Bio Cellular on top of ISC ProHeal in summer? I live in Hong Kong (even hotter and more polluted than Tokyo) and have combination skin. I'd love to hear what you say about it. TIA! Razz

URGH.. yes, I have been in HKG in summer and lord, it is even worse than here! Laughing

I have not tried the Pro Heal yet.. I was trying to find a list of ingredients of Bio Cellular in order to do a comparison of those.. main thing to watch for is doubling up or clashing on ingredients .

All I can find are the "active ingredients" of bio cellular: DNA, RNA, Hyaluronic Acid, Mucopolysaccharides, Urea-lactic Acid, Allantoin, Vitamin C and D Panthenol.

Pro Heal full ingredients are: distilled water, 15% vitamin C, SD alcohol, laureth-4, zinc sulfate, propylene glycol, 1% vitamin E,1% vitamin A, standardized olive leaves extract, 0.5% kojic acid, 0.5% arbutin, soluble bioflavinoids, phenoxyethanol

(laureth-4?!)

Anyone know the full ingredients of bio cellular?

Oh....I've never thought about clashing on ingredients. Shock (WAY too complicated for me to check all those ingredients) I'd love to know the two (Active and Bio Cellular as well) are compatible because I plan to use them together. Anyone has the full ingredient list of Bio Cellular? Please help! Razz

wow, that goes way over my head.

what I would do is email IS Clinical direct and ask them if they see any trouble using the Bio Cellular with Pro Heal (just include that full list of ingredients).

At first glance I would think it is OK, but they are the best ones to know for sure. When I wanted to get remergent I mailed them with IS Clinical ingredients to check on combinations!

Not sure, sorry. I find IS Clinical usually respond within 24 hours. Let us all know when you find out.

Since I never got any reply from is clinical via email. I called them today. The guy who I talked to said that super serum should be good for a year since production date (but he cannot give me production date for my serum, even when I gave him the little code in the bottle). Thus, this information is useless.

He also said that since the super serum is very concentrated, they dont recommend me to layer it.

My las t question for him was how long I should wait after microderm to use sumer serum. And he said, I can use it right away, not waiting period. However, if I experience irritation, I should stop. I dont find this information useful either. More like trial and error while I want a definite answer.

why dont you try doing a microderm treatment on the inside of your forearm (where skin is more tender) and put super serum directly on top. If you can tolerate that then your face would probably be OK.

i don't apply active, pro-heal or other more potent serum during the day when i go to tropical countries like Thailand. The most i apply is vit C serum. I think because of the heat, the more potent serums clog up the pores, rather than help improve the skin texture.
