Does self tanning lotion go bad and lose its effectiveness? I put on some Neutrogena Sunless Tan Foam in Dark yesterday morning and the color never developed. Nothing. I found it in my closet and its a couple years old now. It doesn't say to store it in the fridge (like the toma's does).. but I've just never heard of this happening. |

Oh yeah, it goes bad.. Self tanners only have a life of 10 to 12 months... You're actually darn lucky it didn't do anything. .Usually they will turn you blue or green {and can have a nasty smell sometimes as well}.. I was a lovely, light shade of blue once and I had JUST bought the tube.. I was not a happy camper, it turns out I wasn't the only one this happened to.. When I returned it, I was told several others had.. It had been a recent order from the company. .Seems they were probably trying to get rid of old product... |
