After some research, I realised I had not reviewed this product previously, and felt that I absolutly HAD to share my experience with this eye cream.
Now, summertime girl has already posted a very comprehensive review describing the beautiful texture of this product, and her positive results, so I wont go into that again, but I have to say that I also shared the wonderful benefits as she did.
I have very fine, almost dehydration lines around my orbital bone - since I'm 28, these fine lines have been starting to creep up on me for the last few years. So, I have been an avid eye-cream user since that time, and have tried everything from La Prairie, to Cellsomet to Christian Dior to Emergin C and have been known to try my Valmont Renewing pack around my eyes also. I decided to try the pytomer after the positive reports on EDS and the fact that it was quite reasonably priced (I decided if it was a bomb, then I wouldn't be too disappointed with the outlay financially...). Can I say nothing I have used previously has even come close to having the benefits that I found with the phytomer!!! 
I have been using it now for about six months, and th first thing I noticed was that it was pretty effortless to apply, you use it sparingly, and it sinks in so well that I can put my concealor over it basically straight away. It was much later, during a vain moment when I looked really closely that I found I had to really stare to see these fine lines anymore!!! I looked refreshed and awake straight after using it (evn after a late night), and my eye area looks smooth and toned. It was on of those moments that I wished I had before and after pictures!!!
Some have reported previously the lifting and tightening effect on their eyes, and I have never felt that. The area doen't look "tighter" to me, but looks smooth and clear.
Now, for those with dark circles and bags, I can't really comment. I feel it does help with bags, but I dont really have to worry about those, so its hard to tell, and dark circles aren't really an issue either, though I suspect it might not be that helpful as I still feel I need concealor (although that could be a make-up thing rather than because I necessarily need it).
All in all, this is a definate repurchase, though its been six months now, I use it night and day and I'v hardly used half the jar - I think this stuff is gold (so far my HG of eye creams).
FYI: It comes with a little applicator for those who hate to us their fingers.... |

I've only tried a sample of this but decided not to get it because for me it did tighten up my eye area a bit (not in an uncomfortable way though). I realise that this is what it is supposed to do and that it would be great for many but at that time I really didn't like the feeling of something trying to "lift" my eye area. At least it seemed true to its name though  I think there's been several raves about this eye cream on EDS over the years.... That's great that you found an eye cream that works so well for you! |
