Over the long weekend and stucked at home due to the crappy weather, I caught this infomercial about sheer cover. The effects look amazing and easy to use. I am just wondering have anyone tried it and how do you like it? Any problems like acne causing or pore clogging? Thanks!

I'd seen an infomercial on this a while back too and was interested, but when I checked their website it looked like the only way you could order it was to enroll in their "home delivery plan" and get a new shipment every 90 days. I hate being forced into anything like that (although I know you can cancel at any time).

Ya, it's the same deal as proactive, they automatically send you the supplies. I don't mind that if the product works... althought it's not pricey, $29.95 for everything, I am just worried about getting acne as I am not sure if it's pore clogging. But I know what you mean, it's such a pain that they make you commit Razz

If you did not want autoship then the price goes up to $39.00. (I called their hot line instead of ordering on line.) I told them go ahead charge me $39.00. I rather pay $10 more for the 1st time then "forgot" to call later to cancel if I did not like the product. Ended up I did not like the product.

They charged you an extra $10 for not doing auto-ship? I think that's wrong but then again, it beats having to go through the trouble of cancelling auto-ship. I had a nasty time doing that with Proactiv a while back. Let us know how Sheer Cover works out for you. I really want to know if it covers up blemishes and scars.

Sheer Cover is the "infomercial" version of Youngblood Cosmetics. (Like Bare Minerals is the "infomercial" of Bare Esscentuals). They're both the same company, but the home version is a little less taxing on the pocketbook, I think...I also don't think the home versions are as finely milled as the regular versions, but that's just my opinion! If I remember correctly, and I could be wrong, Youngblood contained no mica, but did have bismuth oxychloride...which can be an irritant for some. Lordy, I've tried so many, I can't remember them anymore!!! I do know that Sheer Cover has bismuth, and that the colors are somewhat limited.

Mineral makeup is sooooo different from one person to the next. I myself am neither a fan of Youngblood or Bare Escentuals - but there are legions of fans for both companies! Laughing

As long as they have a good return policy, maybe give it a shot! You might love it.

Maria

I don't use Sheer Cover b/c of the bismuth but my Mom & Sister both do & love it.
They don't charge my sister extra for not doing the auto-ship. I'd call back and speak to another sales rep.
I recently started using a mmu called My Mineral, ordered it off of ebay. So far so good.
