I am very tempted to try this brand called Marie Veronique because it is all natural, suitable for sensitive skin and they do a zinc oxide based daily sunscreen. I am also very curious about it because they use exotic ingredients like emu oil and a special delivery system (if I understand correctly) for their hyaluronic acid. It appeals to me because it is free of synthetic preservatives, but still contain active ingredients. I would love to hear what you think, and it might be of interest to anyone looking for a natural range or anyone with rosacea. This is the website: http://m-vskintherapy.com/ |

Smoothskin I took a quick look and am not impressed. Here is a totaly false statement from her section on titanium dioxide.
In addition, only one chemical agent, avobenzone, is allowed in sunscreens in Europe, Australia and Canada. They use primarily titanium dioxide in their sunscreens--and my guess is that avobenzone is on the allowed list because it in conjunction with titanium dioxide gives you full UVA/UVB
protection--at least in theory.
Makes me wonder if everything else she says is true! |

Hi TheresaL, thanks for your reply, so you would just not trust the range at all, well, I guess if she has not got her facts straight on sunscreen it makes you think... I just think the products still look interesting and I think zinc oxide is a good natural sunscreen... |

Smoothskin I am not saying that none of her products are good. I am just saying that I would not necessarily take what she says as fact. I would definetly investigate her claims by using other sources of information.
BTW I totally agree with you on the zinc oxide. I think that it is a good sunscreen. In fact all of my sunscreens contain zinc oxide. |

Hi TheresaL, I get your point and tried searching on the net + on this website and makeupalley to see if anyone had any experience with this range, but there is nothing... so I am thinking I might have come across a rare gem (there is a lot of good reveiws on using emu oil in a skin care regime) or it could be no good... |
