I've been so enthralled with this site, I just want to try everything  Just finished getting my face ready for makeup, and I feel like I have a pound of grease on my face.  There must be something better. Please help! |

| I have tried so many moisturizers! Ponds, Vaseline, Mineral oil, Jojoba oil, Almond oil. The best so far has to be PURE Emu oil, I buy it off Ebay and what you do is run the bottle under warm water then massage it into the skin. If there is any excess just wipe it away because it penetrates the layer UNDER the dermis so your getting hydration without visibly seeing it. Some day’s I even put my Retin A on top. |

| I sear by Jojoba Oil, you do need to wait a few minutes before applying make-up but your skin never feels heavy or greasy and it regulates oil production throughout the day. |

| camellia oil is very nice ... i have oily skin but it never makes me feel oily and believe it or not my skin is acutally less oily since using it. |

| If you are looking for something very light, I LOVE Decleor Aroma Purete Matt Finish Skin Fluid. The smell alone makes it worth the purchase IMO, but it also adds moisture while managing to be light and control oil. Very nice. |

| I love Sea Buckthorn and Olive Sqalane. Rose oil is nice too. Pomegranate oil, raspberry oil, grape oil etc. |

| Tidieu--- it's one of the lightest moisturizers I've ever tried. It probably would not be enough moisture for the winter, but for summer when I'm battling oilies, it's just right. I too have always had a hard time with moisturizers in the summer since my skin gets so darn oily (argh!), but this really seems like a perfect fit. If I use a moisturizing serum like PSF's vitamin C serum, OR if I use an oil like PSF Balancing Oil I find that I don't even need a moisturizer in the summer, just sunscreen, BUT if I don't use any of that stuff, I find I need just the slightest bit of moisture to keep my skin look nice, so I use the Decleor matt. |

What is your skin type? I think that would help as far as recommendations.
I am extremely dry. I can put on oils or butters til the cows come home & my skin just drinks it in. Others even look at a butter or oil & oil up.
Why not tell us your skin type & what you're currently doing. I think you'll get some recommendations that you'll find will work for you then. |

thanks to all for offering some suggestions. My face is dry with an oily t-zone. Recently, I've been using the Philosophy body moisturizer (on my face  ) I just noticed this when asked what product I use. That could be part of the problem. Prior to the Philosophy, I was using time & again by GANZ. It is much better, but I just found it at a store selling overstocks, it is not a product they carry. This is how I've been trying to find something for my skin. What I need to do, is find something I can afford, that I can come back to. (but, I like to try new products too  ) Hope this helps you help me...thanks so much (and sorry for the book) |
