My doc told me i have a yeast infection on my face causing hyperpigmentation, any suggestions. Plus unrelated but is there anything stronger than eperdermx it seems to clear stuff off your face but is there anything better for removing the top layers? My skin has a lot of tiny breakages, very annoying and unattracitve.

Your doctor didn't recommend anything topical for your condition?

I was going to recommend the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel to resurface the skin but I figure it would be better to follow what your doctor said first. I didn't want to worsen your condition. You can always try the peel when you're all better. Smile Hope you feel better soon.

I've never heard of this before. How does one get a face yeast infection?

I'm a bit confused. Epidermix won't remove hyperpigmentation.

What did your dr give you?

Retin-A and AHA's are better at turning your skin over than Epidermix.

Rose, the JB Green Apple peel has been good at evening my skin tone and fading my scars. I haven't noticed a difference with my age/sun spots yet. Then again, I haven't been paying attention to them. I've been too busy checking out the fading of my acne scars. I'll keep you posted on the fading of the age/sun spots (now that you've brought them to my attention).

Currently I am using PTR ultra gentle skin lightening gel every night, plus PTR oxygen detoxifying mask twice every week. Overall my skin is brighter after two week's usage, but whether they work for hyperpigmentation remains unknown.

I used neostrata AHA15 gel before and some of my little dark dots faded and they didn't come back even after I stopped AHA. I think I will use it again after I finish one bottle of PTR lightening gel.

Hope it helps.

Oh k sorry my bad i'll explain again. Um doc gave me something for acne and the a shampoo thing for the yeast infection. I have been using epedermx for a while to sorta flatten my skin as it is broken and damaged form years of acne but its not really workin out to well. Wondering if theres anything that is like a stage down from laser surgery without the lasers of course lol Smile
