Hi, i'm looking for a good cleanser. Preferably something that won't break me out. What's your HG cleanser? |

My favourite and definite HG is A'kin Cleansing Gel.
I have been using this for the past 1.5 years and a bit.. not that long but since I've tried many many others on the side, it's the only thing I keep coming back to.
It's a light textured gel that doesn't foam but is strong enough to clean makeup off.
As for a cream based cleanser, I really love Dr H and Jurlique cleansing creams. In combination with the A'kin gel, it's actually cleared my skin up without extra products. |

I love A'kins Cleansing Gel too! I've done a review on it, I'm soo glad someone loves this too. Have you tried their other prodcuts miranets?
The cleansing gel is quite clear, and not foamy, but gets all makeup off It does not leave a tight feeling, and it smells divine |

Cellcosmet Purifying Gel is the best cleanser I have ever used. I will do a review of it in the next couple of days. |

I know most people on here hate St Ives with a vengeance, but I really love their Radiant Cleanser for Normal/Dry Skin. It does contain exfoliating particles, but they're rounded and not at all scratchy like the dreaded apricot stone ones. |

Without a doubt:
*Homemade Version of Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream.
I also love:
*Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream
*Dermaolgica Clay Cleanser
*Unknown Brand Milk and Honey Soap |

Many calming type cleansers make me red and sting and creamy cleansers, like Neutrogena are good but that one broke me out, so did Ponds but it really took my makeup off.
I like Cetaphil gentle cleanser for morning but it may break some out, it's not meant for acne prone skin.
To take my makeup off at night, I use mineral or jojoba oil mixed with Cetaphil gentle cleanser, it works like an emusifier of sorts. I massage it in and around to really get the makeup off. I rinse with a face cloth and warm water abut three times to get all the oil and makeup off my face. This doesn't break me out, although certain oils do break me out like olive and almond. I would use squalane because I love it's lightness and I find it really calming but it's too expensive to cleanse with.
I also like Biore Anti-blackhead warming cleanser. It's thick and stiff, it really takes makeup off, leaves my skin soft never tight or dry. |

Neutrogena Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Cleanser
*People probably think I own stock in this company or something...I dont...I just love this line. It cleared up my adult acne!
I also use a cream cleanser that my facialist sells (her own "lable") to remove makeup. It is sold at the spa so I havent reviewed it becuae it is only sold in Royal Oak Michigan. It takes off all my stubborn makeup and it rinses off! Sometimes I dont even use a moistuizer after and my skin is fine. No breakouts at all! |

Does this foam, Olivia? It sounds great! |

No...it does not foam. It it comes in a tube and is very rich. It glides on and takes off all my eyemakeup...in one application. It feels thick like a cold cream but it disolves in water. I usually wash again with Neutrogena to make sure I get everything off my skin but occasionally I just rinse it off and go to bed. It is very moisturizing. I have asked the owner a 100 times to tell me where she orders it from because she is a small shop so I know she does not make it and bottle it herself. I'm sure she orders it from one of those places where they just send the product to you and you put your name on it but she wont give up any information. It is $10 a tube which lasts me about 2-3 months. |

I'm really liking Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel ... it never seems to dry out my face (which other cleansers seemed to do). I will definitely repurchase this when I'm done. |

From the reviews on this forum, i caved in and bought Dermalogica's Ultra Calming cleanser and i love it so far. Dermalogica's PreCleanse is also great as a makeup remover. Wouldn't mind more suggestions though. |

Plain ole' OCM here. Easy, cheap and works far better than anything else I've used to remover makeup and overall cleansing.
If pushed to choose a retail brand it would be Platinum skin care Volcanic Mud cleanser. It's for normal to dry skin. Looks ickky but smells fab, and does the job. |

Yes I have used a few of their products, I also wrote more about them in a recent post you wrote in. The title was "Akin and Miessence products"
I love their wheat and macadamia condition, their shampoos and conditions are very gentle too. I have gone through 2 tubes of their hand cream, but its just mediocre.
Their other products, like anti aging, are quite expensive for quantity. |

Eve Lom cleansing cream - It's the one I keep coming back to. Too bad it's so pricey and hard to get. I'm hoping the Burt's Bees Orange cleanser will be a decent alternative. |

At night I use Biore Pore Perfect shine control foaming cleanser because I need a really good foaming wash to get all the foundation and oil off my face. It never overdries. In the morning I use Aveeno Skin Clarifying cleanser because I don't need a serious scrubbing and this cleanser makes my skin feel soft. |

My current HG cleanser would have to be the Juice Beauty Cleansing Gel. It does a really good job at cleansing my face without making it feel dry. |

Cellcosmet purifying gel is my all-time favorite. If you want something organic and natural then The Organic Pharmacy rose gel cleanser.
The Babor hy-ol two-step cleansing oil is also on my shelf at the moment and I like to use that once a week just for a change. VERY nice cleansing oil. |
