| Its strange, when I checked out Makeupalley the Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser doesn't have that many great reviews, its quite hit or miss with the reviewers it seems. However, when I searched it here on this board, its mentioned quite a few times along the lines of best cleanser people have used. I've gotta say I LOVE this cleanser. I used to use it a couple years ago when I had acne and it seemed to help dramatically. I probably bought it three or four times along with the toner and moisturizer but I've been out for the last couple years and didn't have it around. With the change in the weather I've been thinking my pores needed a little tightening so I picked up a tube of it at Walmart today. These days my skin is very clear with very rare breakouts so I can't really compare it with how it acted on my skin back then. I actually feel like I'm in someone else's skin these days since my acne completely cleared up. So I came home and washed my face before my workout and holy cow, this stuff really does what it says it does. My pores are TIGHT almost invisible with one wash! I let it sit for a minute or two which is what I do with all cleansers though. Then I use a microfiber cloth to get the deep dirt out. I'm so impressed with this product, I new it was good in the past, but it seems to take my skin to another level every time I use it! The smell doesn't bother me at all like some reviews have commented, I like the smell actually. This is a great drugstore cleanser! |
