My SO and I were laughing hysterically at one of the scents in your bubble bath line.
Our morbid curiosity is dying to know what Monkey Farts bubble bath smells like!!!! We had to check several times to make sure we were reading correctly.

I got the Monkey Farts for my two Grandsons. Well, you know how preschool boys can be with bathroom talk. My little guys get the biggest kick out of taking their tub in Monkey Farts. The smell is sweet and fruity....they love it. Thank God it smells nothing like the name. |

la vie en rose - Midges are evil. I was born up in the North East of England, near Scotland, and those little bu&&ers are everywhere! You might want to hermetically seal yourself up in a bubble if you venture near water, trees or out at night whilst you're there.
I think they're similar to the dreaded Canadian No-see-ums.
They don't make a noise and you only see them when they're en masse (which is most of the time - and it's usually a bl**dy big masse, too!)

'Boys' of all ages particularly are attracted to this item - of course based solely on the name.
'Girls' of all ages will appreciate the fact that the bath soap itself is non-irratating & moisturizing.
(not that the humor is lost on the female gender, just that i don't think we are as amused by 'bathroom humor' as Winnie says as the fellas - though there are exceptions...right Mary? ) |

Why yes maam you did! Hmmm, what do monkeys eat? Bananas? Mangos? Pineapples? That's ALOT of fiber! And so you get Monkey Farts!! It's a light tropical scent, bit on the sweet side - HUGE hit with the under 10 and over 30 set (and of course males of all ages )
This was what I was going to post on my site to intro the scent. I laughed my ... off - but probably not the way to sell bubble bath.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4784409600367252507&q=steve+ballmer
Be sure to show this link to hubby - I guarantee he will love it! |
Oh Man!!! That's so funny! I have nephews that are gonna love that clip. Thanks for the good laugh.
We were on the right track with the scent. We were assuming bananas. The tropical mix sounds great. |

Whew - I was a little concerned about posting it b/c I didn't know how our more dignfied group would take it. Was all meant in fun.
Kids love it! My 5 yr old asks me to play it daily. It's also a great pick me up to email to someone having a bad day. It's the LAST thing they expect & always gets a laugh.
Yes - the tropical mix actually is really nice. Personally, it makes me crave fruit salads! I geared it toward the kids b/c I thought they'd enjoy having something of their own. |

I used the Delectable Bath Melts the other night - they're wonderful! I found that I only needed to use one (though once I dropped it in I was really tempted to drop in another to get a more intense scent ) - one is enough though for a medium size bath. It smells gorgeous (I had chocolate, yum!), has lots of natural butters in it (as evidenced by my well moisturised skin afterwards), and is just a really nice and relaxing experience. I'm going to use another one tonight and will probably order some more next week (and might also try that body cleanser that Winnie mentioned - sounds nice!).
Thank you Candy, love your work! |

Candy, i need to finish my scent selection for my order (wanna try the new "exfoliating cleansing butter. It sounds...well...illegal!) If anyone has tried it, let me know pls.
How are you coming along with the Creme Spendide scent CK was raving about here? I've been drooling since she talked of it! |

Actually you aren't the only one asking about this progress (because of course I have nothing else to do .
I think I've come close to nailing it. I have 2 more samples I need to put together for CK then sending the lot to her for sniffing and since our poor little Cam has her owwie arm I'm making her a 'get well' basket with the scent I think is right. Then we'll see. I'm sure they will let everyone know if I got it right or not. |

will definitely let everyone know! i'm eagerly awaiting all my goodies as i'm sure i smell a bit rancid -- haven't been able to wet the arm area for almost two weeks and there's all the areas that *only* that arm can reach....
will also be a guinea pig for her new scar creme. my incision scar is approx 8 inches and from what my brother says, underneath the butterfly bandages it looks like a *very* long but crack that is definitely not something i want people to think of when they're looking at my arm!!! |

So, ladies who have tried the bath melts, I have a question for you...
I like to keep my bathrooms here at home clean and sweet-smelling. Unfortunately as far as air fresheners go, the plug-in kind or what have you just doesn't cut it, and I don't like the scents anyway. So, what I usually do instead is keep a highly-scented bar of soap in a pretty soap dish, and it works great--- makes the bathroom smell lovely without overwhelming you. (Right now I have a slice of Lush's Honey I Washed the Kids in one of the bathrooms... yum!!!) Anyway, since I'm such a big fan of Candy's scents I thought I might try to do the same thing with some of these bath melts... So my question is, do you guys think the melts are scented enough for this purpose? TIA!! |

Liz - I'm currently stocking up a bit on some highly scented 'guest soaps', pretty much with that idea in mind. The problem with using the melts in this manner is they do have citric acid so if exposed to humidity, they bloom...lol - will look like little lumpy planets on your sink! Will still smell good & work, but not what I think you're lookin for. |

Hmm...thanks for the tip, Candy! So, does "stocking up" means you've been buying soaps too, or that I can look forward to Candessence guest soaps?^-^ |

HAHAHAHAHAA, la vie en rose, you have NO idea!^-^ Like I said, right now I've got that honey-scented soap in there, and it's nice, don't get me wrong, but I'd really love to just up the ante with some chocolate! |
