My decor is very simple and thus very easy to match!^-^(That being said, I was eyeing an almond-scented primal elements soap but it was a clear bar of soap with red and black scottie dogs inside and I couldn't bring myself to put it on display--- SO not compatible with my bathroom theme! LOL!! Now, the honey-scented honeybee soap from L'Occitane, that one I might consider...) I have turquoise mats, cream-colored towels, brushed silver jars and frosted glass soap dishes. Candy, you're too good to me!!!

i got my goody package from the lovely candy and thought i'd update. she included a solid perfume and the cutest little rose hand soaps, both in the scent similar to AG Creme Splendide. is it spot on? well, i'm working from memory here, as my CS is back in Paris and it's kind of difficult to compare solids to lotions, etc. however, i'd have to say it's pretty darn close. an absolute match? no. but close enough for me to swoon a little as i walk into the bathroom and breathe the scent of the little bathroom soaps (plus, the colour is beautiful as well!). i know you're not really supposed to *use* these soaps (they're more for guests and keeping the bathroom smelling pretty), but i've been so blue lately i decided to take one into the bath with me last night. definitely a slippery little bugger! anyways, the smell was just divine and lifted my spirits and chasing the soap around in the tub could provide hours of amusement.... i've been putting the solid on my right wrist only and using it as an exercise -- i have to get my wrist up to my nose to inhale the tantilising scent deeper (no mean feat for me at this point Rolling Eyes ). it's so gorgeous, i find myself doing this a lot and have named it my candy exercise. the scent does not stay strong very long, but it lingers (i can still catch a faint whiff on my torture device).

like i said, it's not quite perfect (a touch too sweet perhaps???) but it's oh so close. i would not hesitate at all to slather my body with this and buy bathmelts, etc., the whole range! it's a luxurious yet subtle scent. (my love is like a green sap rose? Laughing )

and the little guest bath soaps (or whatever they're properly called) are to die for. they're cute as can be and have enough scent to easily freshen any bathroom and lift the spirits. only one caveat -- if you actually expect these to be used by guests, make sure your guests are athletic! and if you use it in a candlelit bath with your honey, it will definitely promote intimacy....

thank you, candy!!!

Simply put it's a scent put into a solid base (oil & beesewax), poured into a container (I use mini-deoderant tubes or what looks like an extra large lip balm tube). You rub onto your pulse points.

Haven't had any melting problems yet (we'll see now that 1 of these is in Arizona).

I am a happy recipient of Candy's pink sugar scented solid perfume...not only does it smell fabulous, it is surviving the AZ heat just fine (arrived in perfect condition and is holding up just great being toted around in my purse)! The staying power of these scents is amazing...literally last for hours and hours without a touch up. Needless to say, I will soon have a collection of these little gems in all different smells... Laughing
