I'd never heard of this product until on another skin care board someone mentioned it. Has anyone here tried it?
For this past Christmas I received a large gift box of Bare Escentuals from my sister complete with brushes, foundation, eyeshadows, lipstick and mascara. I like this product very much but two things that I have noticed is that my face feels itchy with it on and also it seems very shiney. Not oily shiney but shiney as in metallic looking. Is this common? Should I allow more time to get used to it? I've only used it about 4 or 5 times now. I do like the coverage and the look but it's the shine and the itching that turn me off.
Is Everyday Minerals any different? |

EveryDay Minerals is supposed to be the non-bismuth version of Bare Escentuals.
I tried it last year in the "Original Glow" formula and while the formula was creamy and nice, it was too glowy for me! So, now I've just recently ordered the new Semi Matte - I'll post a review as soon as I've test driven it for a while. What gets rave reviews is their Finishing Dust - five stars on MakeupAlley! (Naturally I ordered a sample of that too snort, snort!!  )

| Anna, you are most likely reacting to the bismuth.. ANd youare right, you are shiny.. I hated that too, even tho I loved the product... Which is what started me on my hunt for a new MMU.. I really like Amazing Cosmetics, but now thatks to Maria, I have to try out Everyday Minerals...LOL |
