I'm really having a tough time figuring out what to do regarding Restylane. I'm basically considering having my upper lip augmented, at the sides of the mouth primarily. The bottom lip is already full and no injections are needed. I've heard that the injections are somewhat painful and the hyaluronic acid will last 6 months tops. Do any of you recommend I try either LipFusion (regular or XL) or CityLips before heading for injectables? Also for those that have had Restylane can you comment on your experiences?
Any advice is appreciated! |

If you're gonna do injections go with silicon 1000 it is permanent. Otherwise do you know what you could spend over time with those Resty injections?
I had really good results using City Lips and taking Hyaluronic Acid with Biocell
go here and look at "older photos" and you'll see my before and after photos.

I am the same way, I just wanted my top lip fuller and boy I got it when I want it. BUT, my lips only look that full in the AM. It does not stay all day. I look like the before pic(taking HA caps for 2 months) most of the day and the really plump look first thing in the AM and after I apply the CL.
So permanent fillers may be something to consider. I went to Ritacca in Chicago and they were going to charge me $300 for first round and MOST people with thinner lips need 3 rounds. but she said for what I wanted it would take only the $300 for one. MAybe one day I'll do it but for now, I am pleased with the plan I have now.
Go here and discuss it with these women. This forum is all about lips and nothing else.

As an aside, wow Wenrwdy, your eyelashes look awesome in your after pics - you have convinced me to use the JM eyelash intervention! The city lips sure seems to work well, I have been trying the new JB beautiful lips, but find it irritates my lips too much.

I have used resty on a couple of corner lip lines and nasolabial and will again at some point down the road if needed. For me it lasts about 8-9 mos., and I take HA supplements and drink lots of water. Once plumped up the lines are easier to target w/ peels, products, etc. It is a little painful, more so around the lips, but a fairly quick procedure overall. |
