I'm looking at this Bi-Phasic peel, where you exfoliate with a 3% Salicylic acid solution before doing the Glycolic acid peel.
Does anyone know if aspirin in witch hazel serve as a good prep step? If yes, in what proportion?
Original ingredient list: Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid 3% pH 2.1 |

There is no way I would subject my skin to salicylic acid before a glycolic peel. It sounds really strong. I don't think I would mix aspirin in witch hazel either.
Is there a reason why you want to put something this strong on your skin? |

Bushy,
is 3% salicylic acid strong? The site describes this 2-phase peel as a fairly mild combination. |

Pumaka, 3% Salicylic aid can be strong depending on your skin condition. The problem is that if it does burn your skin a bit and then you follow with the glycolic, you will really have burnt skin. If you want to try the kit, test it first on the skin on the inside of your arm and if you don't have any problems then carefully try it on your face. HTH |
