If you guys like the Dermalogica and Japanese cloths, you're gonna love the Riffi Original Massage Mitt. I've used it for almost ten years and it is THE best that I've found. One will last for years. It got my skin so smooth and prevents ingrown hairs. My skin really absorbs whatever oil or lotion I put on after. Totally SMOOTH! The results are comparable to a successful full-body, retin-a program (if there is such a thing). I use the ORIGINAL, not the sisal. Also, I never use it dry. Always wet.
Let me warn you, it is rougher than the japanese cloth but the results are wonderful. Not for the faint of heart. My husband says it feels like Brillo pads, but he's a woos when it comes to scrubbing. He thinks those scrunchy plastic thingies are great. Google them on the Internet. I get mine from smallflower.com. |

i use it unfolded for my back and bottom you know how you have a big towel when you dry off you sort of have it wrapped around the back of you and do a little ''shimmy'' to dry off
thats how i use it for the back that way you get a great back and bottom exfoliation
and for the rest of me i use it just like a flannel/wash cloth |
That's exactly how I use it. Long and unfolded for large, difficult to reach areas like the back. Then I kind of fold/scrunch it up with the smaller areas. |

I still use my Dermalogica Buffing Cloth but since I purchased it I've found cheaper versions that are exactly the same.
I still like to use a traditional body scrub on occasion but honestly the buffing cloth is the most effective body exfoliant I've used. |

I just got one myself and I LOOOVE IT!! I tried dry brushing but it didn't really work for me. The Dermalogica ultimate buffing cloth has done miracles to my skin. It leaves it very soft and even moisturized (when used with a body wash or other product). I'm not really sure how often they need replacing but I read somewhere once or twice a year, depending on your use. You can probably find cheaper versions of this buffing cloth. I was at Marlene's Market the other day and saw something like it. I might try it. |

I use mine twice a week and have had it since the start of this thread (over 2 years ago). Obviously, I keep giving it a wash every now and again - but it's STILL going strong! |
