Hi there! Well now that it's summer, I really don't like any thick products on my face especially foundation. Unfortunately, I have been cursed with dark circles and blemishes on my face. I'm hoping that somebody has had good experience with tinted moisturizers and would like to shout out any recommendations? |

With dark circles and blemishes, you'd still need a good concealer, but i recommend Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. Great for lightly evening out skin tone while giving that nice sheer summer look. |

Dr Hauschka Translecent concentrate, you can mix it with your moisturiser, day oil or sunscreen and build the colour as you tan.
It is really light and excellent for all skin types. |

I'm a big fan of the Dermalogica Sheer Tint. (spf 15) They do it in light, medium and dark. I love it because it's light and moisturising too. |

This is a tip for what not to buy. Ultraceuticals do a tinted moisturiser that is apparently self adjusting. Well, not in my opinion. I felt like a clown except that it was orange and not white. I think it would be ok if you were olive skinned but being pale it looked ridiculous on me. And it was over matt!
I took it back and they refunded me my money which was great.

I like Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Enhancer (sheer, slightly moisturizing, has retinol and SPF, dewy finish), Maybelline Pure Makeup (even sheerer and lighter, has a more matte finish). I also like Dr. Hauschka's Translucent Bronze Concentrate mixed with sunscreen or moisturizer when my skin is looking good (since it offers zero coverage); it adds a sunny, natural-looking hint of color that's perfect for paler types. |

Last Sat. i bought Dr.H's tinted moist and i'm not 100% happy with it. It exists in one colour only, and should adjust with your natural skin colour. It obviously does because although my skin is quite fair I do look natural with it. My problem is rather that it's somewhat too greasy for my skin and i feel the cream as an oily layer on my face the whole day. |

I like the lightweight-ness of tinted moisturizers, but I am uncomfortable looking too bare-skinned ... my favourite tinted moisturizers are:
-Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer
-Stila tinted moisturizer
-Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer
-Tarte Smooth Operator
The Laura Mercier one has nice shades, but I found the texture a bit too dewy and not long lasting enough for me. |

I like Dr Hauschka's as well but it's not right for everyone's skin type. I find tinted moisturizers don't work too well for oily skin, but if you're into that dewey look it works great. |

I like Juice Beauty's SPF 30 tinted moisturizer. It is not oily and it's organic. It just get absorbed easily into the skin. |

After yves rocher discontinued their tinted day cream (my favorite) i went in search of a substitute. i was looking for one with no spf, because i've had reactions with those in the past.
now i'm using clarins colour tint. it's not promoted as a tinted moisurizer, but it's goes on like one. i'm very happy with it. it's suppose to be oil-free, but i'm not convinced. but i have dehydrated skin, so it works for me (but i usually still need to moisurize before, so if your skin is normal, you may not need to). after buying it i was pleased to see it got good reviews on mua.
a lot of mua-ers also like mac's select tint. it has spf in it, but no paba, and i seem to be able to wear it. got a sample that i have only used once but on first try, it doesn't seem to give as good coverage or spread as easily as the clarins. |

Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20 wins hands down for me. I like the Stila Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15 as well, but it is too moist in Summer. |

I also really like the Dermalogica Sheer Moisture Tint SPF15 in Light. I love the finish on this one!
I'd be interested in trying the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer though ... sounds nice. |
