I can't use my Jane Iredale because of the minerals right?
I only really use concealer and Dr H. Bronze concentrate during the day when I wear sun screen. So I am really just looking for a great concealer, which will not degrade my LRP.
OR
Do you think I am better off sticking with my Avene 30+ (can't find 50+ in Australia), and continuing with my Jane Iredale?
Thanks. |

I've been thinking about this subject too, but don't have an answer for you. I've seen conflicting stories on the minerals and other foundations degrading the sunscreen but I just don't know whether to believe it or not.
I can tell you what I do though. I apply my minerals or other makeup foundation only after my sunscreen has completely dried. From the bits and pieces of information I've read the reports about destabilizing were when the foundation (mineral or any other) and sunscreen were mixed together in a container.
So I am not mixing the foundations and sunscreen. I am layering. I try to use the least amount of foundation or minerals that I can and really try not to rub or buff too much. I like to think if any destabilization occurs it is only on the very top layer as that is the only place the foundation and sunscreen would meet. Does this make any sense? I like to think it does because I don't want anything else to obsess over. |

Yes that makes perfect sense! Thank you.
My theory is that if you believe that something will work, it usually will. |
