I'm starting to get a little overwhelmed by all the options out there - how many things can I put on my face at once?! I wonder if sunscreen may put a dent on all of the other products, although of course I know that sunscreen is essential.
Currently I use in the am:
PSF Firming Toner
O2 Rescue serum
Vit. C
O2 again
Sunscreen
Foundation
Powder
I want to try PSF HA Serum for moisture but I'm wondering if the sunscreen will counteract it.
At night I usually use just the ISC Firming Complex and hesitate to use any moisturizer over it, again unsure if this is counterproductive. In fact, I have so many moisturizer samples and can't seem to find any place in my regiment to fit them in.
Then I want to use Retinol alternatly... but should I do this if I'm using the Firming Complex (which has Vit. A listed as an ingredient although I'm not sure if this is Retinol exactly)?
Then there are all the various eye products, ie. Vit. C plus moisturizer plus sunscreen, plus concealer... sometimes I think that they will start to sag from all the weight. Seems strange to me to put so many things on the skin at once.
Any opinions, suggestions? |

I'm not a fan of layering. I always think something in one product will deactivate something in another...or even cause free radicals.
Curious as to why you use 02 serum twice in the AM?
I'd just use Vit C, s/s then makeup.
Couldn't you alternate your 02 serum and ISC Firming Complex in the PM.
Hold off on buying any more until you know what to do with what you have. |

Thanks for the suggestion. I use the O2 Rescue in the am because... well, I just thought it was good to sandwich with Vit. C and it does help my skin look better during the day. The PSF Firming Toner is not wiped off, so it is in fact another "layer". Using the O2 in the pm with the Firming Complex might be a great idea.
Maybe I'll hold off on the HA Serum, unfortunate because it is so tempting. I do have the same feelings though, obviously, that the layering is not a good idea. I just don't know how we are supposed to incorporate all of these great things for the skin at once |

I am not a fan on layering either. You could easily wear an spf 15 foundation and skip the other spf 15 altogether OR just wear the spf 15 and and wear the foundation only where needed.
I would just cleanse, skip the toner and wear an spf whether it be moisturizer or a foundation, is a matter of preference. In the evening, cleanse and pm serum. Thats it. |
