I need help for several months my skin has become very blotchy. I have white blotchy spots on my face, upper arms and back. I need to know what to do? what can I use to help my condition? What is it? I am assuming that its either sun damage? But I've also read about a fungus caused by the mixture of the sun and sweat.
Should I purchase a home microdermentation kit? Should I get a chemical peel? exfoliate my skin? What's the best product out there?
Please help!
Thank you |

My best advice is that perhaps you should seek an opinion from a dermatologist before you spend any money on topicals that may make it worse. |

I have light blotches on my upper arms that I discovered after a vacation when I tanned... some areas just didn't tan as darkly as others and as the tan faded, it looked blotchy. I was successful in evening out the tone by regular, gentle exfoliation, but I'm sure the spots would return if I tanned again.
My concern for you is the number of areas where you are seeing blotches, which could suggest another cause. Further, there's a risk of getting broken capillaries from exfoliating, especially if the skin is sun damaged, or at least that's the case for me when it comes to my chest. I agree that you should seek professional guidance before launching off on a regime.
Good luck. |
