Just tried a sample of this--- love it!! I removes all of my makeup (including eye make up) so easily and rinses right away. Great for my heavy make up days. Just one question for those of you who have used it before--- do you use it on its own, or do you follow up with a regular cleanser? TIA!

I LOVE THIS TOO! Very Happy
I've had that same question before because I noticed DHC would recommend to follow up with one of their soaps, which I have but there have been times that I forgot and it seems okay. But I think if your wearing heavy makeup than follow up with another cleanser.

Have you tried their Olive Virgin Oil serum? I love that. My face is oily but this doesn't aggravate it. I've bought so many things from DHC, not even funny.

Liz I am going to post a reply here because I have tried several samples of the DHC Cleansing Oil and it is similar to the cleansing oils that I have been using.

After I use my cleansing oils I feel like my skin is clean and that I do not need another step. However, I am so obsessed with keeping my skin from breaking out that I feel compelled to use a cleanser afterwards!

BTW I am so in with the cleansing oil concept that I use it as a first cleansing step every evening, makeup or not!!

Liz, I'm so glad you've found DHC Cleansing oil! I started using it earlier this year and I love it. I find it to be pretty versatile, but I usually use it at night to remove makeup, then I follow with my Proactiv cleanser. Since I've been using it I find my face is much smoother and plumper and even rosier looking.

In the morning sometimes, to mix things up, I'll just use the cleansing oil and go sans Proactiv.

I have the DHC cleansing oil too, but I found they are a bit thick. I found a cleansing oil much better but can only find in Japan..very bad...
Sad
No matter which brand cleansing oil you use, you have to use cleanser afterward. Cleaning is a very important part of your skincare rountines

there are many other cleansing oils, the best i found is FANCL...go to it's website. It has a best-selling cleansing oil. You can also go to strawberrynet for other brands like kanebo...you can get many cheaper japanese brands of the same thing online. Just lok around.

Keenie I have tried the Shiseido Ultimate cleansing oil and am currently using the Kanebo cleansing oil. I have been wanting to try the Fancl. You seem to have tried a lot of cleansing oils. Could you compare the Fancl to the Shiseido or Kanebo? Thanks.

Just wonder. Doesn't it give the same result as extra virgin olive oil?

Wow! I second that. My friend that uses the skincare line DHC olive oil. She removes all of her makeup and does not cog pores.

I got a small travel size bottle of it and thought I would give it a try. The first time I used it it wasn't bad. It did remove makeup well and didn't sting my eyes as much as Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil did. However, my skin got drier as I carried on using it, so I gave up after a few days. I think it's better than Shu Uemura one in the sense that it's olive oil based rather than mineral oil based and it's much cheaper as well.

I was using DHC now using GOW cleansing oil -much cheaper. I always follow up with another cleanser, I found that when I didn't I would break out.

HAHA, If you can read JP, you can go to COSME and find reviews of it. It is really good, without any additive. Only one problem, you have to use it up in 4 months
