Has anyone ever tried a prescription called Solaquin Forte? It is a 4% hydroquinone cream with sunscreen. The box, which is apparently a generic version, says "HYDORQUINONE USP, 4%; Skin Bleaching Cream With Sunscreens; Compare to Solaquin Forte 4% Cream"." It is made by Glades Pharmaceuticals. My Dr. prescribed it to me for the sun spots on my jawlines. My medical insurance didn't cover it because it is considered "cosmetic", but it was under $20.00 for a 1-oz. tube. Seems like a cheaper version of the Obagi Clear or other similiar products! I know many EDS Forum members are anti-hydroquinone, but I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and/or had success with it. |
