Hi Everyone,
Just wondering anyone ever try Sofina's Perfect UV Nuance Up? i notice some reviews for the green bottle (transparent formula), but did not see one for the nuance up. the ebay listing i found it on says that this formula is light pink in color. I am worried it will leave a tint on my skin. At the moment i am using skinceuticals ultimate uv defense spf 30, which i am pretty happy with, but i am always looking for new sunscreens since i am addicted to new products |

Are you referring to the pink one at http://www.sofina.co.jp/perfectuv/index.html?photo ?
I'm currently using Perfect UV but am not sure if it's called "Nuance Up". The one I've got is pale pink in colour but never leaves a noticeable tint on my face. Note that I have medium Asian skin. So I think it won't leave a tint on your skin too. |

Hi CK,
Thanks for the reply. yup that is the one! i was looking at it on ebay and the nuance up is for the pink tinted formula and the green one is the translucent one they call "lucent uv." the one i was wondering about sounds like the exact product you have. how do you like the sofina sunscreen so far besides the color? i am asian too, so sounds good to me! i am definitely buying it once my skinceuticals runs a little lower. |

Hi Girls,
I am also considering buying the Lucent version of this sunscreen but can't seem to find any information on the ingredients. Can either of you tell me what the active ingredients are in either of these? |

Yes, of course I love it! The tint never bothers me as it's nothing like tinted moisturizer nor does it leave a white cast on my face. And I suppose this one is for darker skin.
I'm going to purchase Sofina Rise UV Cut Milk to alternate with this one, which I use on both face and body. |

Ingredient list of UV Cut Milk:

All I know is that the Green (Rise) is for normal/combo, and the Pink (Vital Rich) is for dry skin. It's a suncreen/moisturizer in one.

Actually I love them both.
Both keep my face matte all day but Perfect UV seems to be even more matte than UV Cut Milk. The texture is a bit different (Rise UV Cut Milk and Perfect UV the pink one). UV Cut Milk is runnier and it dries matte about a minute after application. Pefect UV is pale pink in colour and it seems to help even out my skin tone a bit.
I'd say Perfect UV is more value for money as it's cheaper but double in size. |

I started using the Perfect UV 50+ Lucent a couple of weeks ago---it's the best sunblock I've ever used. Shiseido 55 was ok, LRP Fluide Exteme 50+ left my face a greasy mess..and my skin's not even oily to begin with. I've tried countless others that were either too greasy or made my pores look huge and made my eyes sting & water. This stuff just glides on and I think it actually makes my skin look better--almost like a primer would. Love it |

Hi Ladies! I really want to try the Sofina Perfect UV Lucent 50++ since I have read so many wonderful raves here on this stuff. My problem is where to find it. Could someone interpret the Sofina Japanese website to see if there is an international phoneline to order from the US? BTW, this is cool site to explore. I wish that I could read it! Check-out the new eyeshadow/liner sets while you're there. I would like one of those too!

Thanks a bunch,

I just wish we could get a translation on the active ingredients. I would like to know if it is stable and how good it is at blocking UVA. |

Well, I see zinc and titanium. I was hoping to find something like mexoryl or tinosorb or a high PPD rating... Right now it sounds about the same protection as my Skinceuticals physical sunscreen and I'm looking for something more than this. If I didn't spend so much time outdoors I'd be drooling over this and would definitely buy it. I really hope you enjoy it! |

Hi guys. I read on makeupalley.com that the Sofina Perfect UV Lucent 50++ is for the body only. Could you relaly use it for the face if you are acne prone? I'm still awaiting for my 24++ very very cut!! I would love to use a higher spf tho! |

I'm using Nuance Up and the instruction on the package (Japanese) says it can be used on both face and body. I'm not acne prone and I can use it on my face without problem! |

Hi Libby,
I googled the sofina sunscreen and found online stores selling them but the price wasn't as good as on ebay. quite a few sellers offer it on a buy-it-now basis on ebay, and they seem to have many many other products, so no worry about freshness.
So lucent uv and nuance up can be used for both face and body??? |

Yes, I remember now reading a description of the product(it was in English) that it was for face & body...but I can't imagine wasting this on my whole body. I'll use the products I didn't like on my face for the rest of my body...don't mind a little greasiness on my arms & legs so much |

Hi,
I bought Nuance Up at Osaka last 2 months and the sales there said it can apply both body and face. And I tried it also.. .. may be my skin type is a bit oily. so, this UV is oil to me.. and now, i just use it apply on my body..
