I've been using Browtox twice a day for a month now and they say to use only once a day after one month. I don't know that I've seen any results with this product but wonder, if I continue using it, if I will eventually.
I just don't know if going once a day with it is going to do anything. If I thought it wasn't dangerous, I would use it three times a day to get some results out of it. I hate for the bottle to go to waste, plus, I just really want it to work, Darn it!
If anyone has thoughts or suggestions on this, I'd really appreciate hearing them. |

Hi Cloe!
I've used the Browtox and was pretty happy with the results following the "twice a day for 1 month, then once a day after" treatment (right now I'm experimenting with Relax-A-Line to see if it is any better).
If I were you, I'd e-mail PSF customer service with your concerns (support@psfskincare.com), and ask if there is any benefit to continuing the twice-a-day regime indefinitely.
I noticed that the Relax-A-Line product says to use it twice a day permanently…and being that it’s a similar product to Browtox, perhaps PSF would say that twice a day is fine and may even help your results (of course, I’m not suggesting you mention Relax-A-Line to them! )
Anyway, they have always been super helpful – and above all honest – with regards to what their products can/can’t do, so I believe they’ll give you the straight scoop and be able to offer some hints.
Hope this helps a little!

Hi Mary,
Thanks for responding. I think I'll email them right now and see what they say. Let me know how the Relax-A-Line works out for you.

I received a very nice email from PSF and here's the basics in answer to my questions.
"It is completely safe to use the BrowTox more than twice a day, we just found through our study that twice a day for 30 days & then once a day to maintain was adequate to produce results. That being said, there is a small percentage of people (approx. 3%) who do not respond to the acetyl-hexapeptide3 in this formula. If you happen to be in that minority, then other products such as Relax-A-Line & AlphaDerma most likely will not work for you either, although they may be worth a try.
Also, the mechanism for how this formula works is that it helps to inhibit excessive facial muscle movement. It will not completely paralyze the underlying muscle groups like Botox injections. The result is much more modest. Also, these peptides that block neurotransmissions do not erase wrinkles, they prevent new wrinkles from forming & help to relax current wrinkles from becoming deeper."
It was also mentioned that using it as the last step in my routine, after moisturizing, may be best so the product is not being diluted.
I'm going to try this and see what happens. |

Wow, I've been doing just the opposite with my Relax-a-Line, on the theory that applying other products first would block absorption. Hmm.... |

Thanks Mary, I definitely will.
LandB- That's what I was doing also mostly because that's what the directions said but I'm going to try it last and see if my results improve. |
