Hi, I just purchased this about a month ago. The combination of vitamin C and E have done wonders for my skin. I have combo skin, drier on the cheeks with an oily t-zone. this is on sale this month on the dhc website and i have gotten 2 of my aunts to purchase it |

I got a sample of this with my last order as I was curious about it.
Skincareaddicted, is this moisturizering at all? Or more of just a serum. I guess I'll just have to try my sample-- I haven't yet because I usually sample product on a day off, in case it does something weird! |

Hi violetane, good idea--i usually trust dhc products and have never had a reaction to it though my skin can be sensitive to perfumey products....chanel, dior, etc. to answer your question, antiox c is definitely not a serum. it is a moisturizer, DHC labels it a "light" moisturizer, but i find it does an excellent job on my dry patches--that i don't need to use an extra moisturizer on top of it. i myself, wouldn't call it "light" though. it does a great job balancing the oilies and flakies on my face
Hi qisme615. i tend to use it at night because in the daytime i already use skinceuticals c + e ferulic acid serum with a plain moisturizer (pola plenna) plus my sunscreen, and i feel like using antiox c would be overkill in terms of vitamin c dosage. on my days when i don't leave the house until the sun is less harmful (after 4pm), i use antiox in the daytime after toning. and the dhc website says antiox c can be used day or night i believe.
hope this helps! |
