I use Elancyl body massager and cellulite control fluid. Let's say that my expectations are very low. I would say that the area looks a little tighter and less bumpy after a while, but the effect doesn't last.

Decleor Aromessence Slendisium worked a treat for me, but they changed the formula after Shiseido bought the company and it is not as effective anymore Sad I have tried a few products since, the lates being the Weleda Birch Oil, but they don't seem to make any difference...

I've been using True Blue Spa bringing Up the Rear for three or so weeks, and despite it's delightful name, I haven't really noticed my dimples becoming less dimply. My bf said I never really had any to begin with, but I can see them. It says to use the stuff for six weeks before you'll see results. I'll be out of it by then!

I also do a yoga posture that's supposed reduce the look of cellulite most nights (if I'm not too tired) before I go to bed.

I have been eyeing up Benefit's FatGirlSlim for awhile now...

Once I start getting a bit of ripple on my back, I do this massage about 3 nights in a row and it becomes smooth again!

You take a bit of regular honey, spread it on your fingers and palms (you only need a little bit, 1 teaspoon for both hands is enough) and then start sticking your palms to your cellulite-y spots, and keep doing it. Your arms will start getting tired, cause honey will start sticking to the skin more and more, but keep doing it. It may hurt a bit, you'll be almost tearing your hands away from your skin. Do about 50-100 touches in every spot (symmetrical on the body). Then move on to the next spot. If you're doing it at the back of your legs or on the butt, it's easier if you bend at 90 degree angle Smile

Then wipe away the honey with a wet wash cloth. I swear, my skin feels like baby's bottom after this treatment.

I guess it's kind of a rough massage, plus maybe you're transferring a bit of nutrients from the honey to your skin and it gets things moving.

I don't remember where I read this first (about 3 years ago) but it's been working great for me!

Yes, it feels like it stings a bit, you wouldn't actually be tearing the skin away.

And I should add, I'm very prone to spiderveins, but this has never broken my skin on my upper thighs or butt.

Hmm, sounds like a treatment you teach to the SO to save your arms! Work a massage in there too! Woo Hoo! Sticky fun!

Not a cream, but I alternate dry brushing and exfoliation. I also make sure that the area is well moisturized. I like to think that I can see results, but I find that my perception of my body shifts from day to day, so I can never be sure.

This sounds alot like those spa treatments where they use suction cupping to get the lymph moving again. Didn't someone on this forum once buy one of these vacuum cups for cellulite? I remember I was so intrigued by it. I wonder how well it works.....Think this is worth a try.

That was in the cellulite thread from a while ago that all of a sudden dissappeared. There were some other tips too, and several creams/treatments were mentioned, but apparently the thread is lost. (although no commercial links etc)

Sad

That was me! I've been using it since June 5th and have missed a total of 2-3 days (can't remember). So, that means I've used it 8-9 times so far. If you read some of the other testimonials on the selfmassager website, you'll see that they don't really start seeing improvements in the dimples until around day 10. So far I do see a big improvement in the overall firmness of my skin, but the dimples are just now starting to fade a bit. I had planned to do a final review once I'd used it for the full recommended month, but I didn't want to ignore this thread!

THALGO REFINING SERUM!!!!

I got a sample of this along with my EDS order. I have a bit of cellulite on my thighs and put it on one night. Almost instantly my cellulite appears less noticable. Then in the morning I put it on again and my thighs look more toned and cellulite is almost non-existant. I think this might be a new product in the Thalgo line. Eds doesnt carry it yet, but hopefully they will.

*intruiged*

what ingredient could possibly make cellulite instantly appear less noticeable?

I always kind of figured lots of water, good nutrition and lots of exercise makes cellulite disappear, so I didn't obsess about it much b/c I know that will come in time. But still....it'd be nice to make it look like it's gone before it's really gone! lol

A good combo for me has been exercise, more water (these really do help) using scrubby hydro gloves or a body brush in the shower *religiously* and the Avon Cellu-Sculpt.

Sometimes I'll use a body firmer by Decleor, but, I noticed a bigger, immediate improvement with the Avon.

pnw - I should mention that I've had endermologie before and did get noticeable results from that, so I feel like this is really going to help me as well. The suction feels about the same anyway. You just have to be careful since you can easily overdo it and cause a bit of bruising, especially on the inner thighs. You also need a good cellulite oil or cream in order to slide the cup across. I'll report back as soon as I complete the 30 days.

Also, isn't the Thalgo refining serum made specifically for the face, not cellulite prone areas?

Spalook has the Thalgo refining serum (there is 1 for the body and 1 for the face). Just FYI! I have not used this. I have been hearing about CelluliteRx, anyone hear of this?

I've been using Neutrogena's Anti-Cellulite Treatment for three weeks with substantial results, both with cellulite reduction and stretch mark fading (totally unexpected benefit). I talked about it in this thread. http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=13354&highlight=

The true test came yesterday when I was in a dressing room at a dress shop and did not have the horrendous gasp of horror when I looked in the mirror, even though the dressing room had those hideous flourescent lights that show every flaw.

I'm not ready to post a review yet, because last week I was lazy for a few days after brutal work hours and I don't think I was applying enough product with enough massaging... I want to use it religiously for a couple more weeks.

Never tried it. However, not sure if it's worth for what you pay.

Hi guys, i guess no one has purchased the wellbox yet. What is this suction-cup machine you are speaking of and where might one purchase it. It sounds interesting.
