I've noticed that there are not a TON of posts about this product here on EDS, so I thought I would post about my experiences using this product.
I've done some reading about Emulsion Pure, and apparently it has a real plethora of uses. I read somewhere that the formula was developed for medical use to speed the healing of wounds and lacerations. I also read that it can be used for a spot treatment for break outs, detoxifying toner, etc etc. I didn't buy it for blemishes, tho. Right now I use Juice Beauty Blemish serum for stopping break outs in their tracks, and I'm so happy with it that I really don't need another blemish serum. Instead, I bought the Emulsion Pure to help me clean up the messy aftermath of when I try to extract something unsuccessfully. Apparently, not only is E.P. supposed to help with healing, it's also supposed to help with draining, which is really key when you have an angry, red, oozing spot on your face. So, what I do when this happens is I soak a piece of gauze in the E.P. and I hold it to my face as a compress for 15 minutes a few times a day. It does wonders in terms of reducing the redness and the swelling. In between the compresses I usually treat the offending spot with the Juice Beauty Blemish serum and O2 serum, and the whole thing is usually healed up and gone within just a few days. So, I would definitely say that the Emulsion Pure is a good tool to have in your arsenal. |

Just a little update on my progress with E.P. I've actually become quite addicted to the smell, so I started using it both as a compress and as a spot treatment for blemishes. It works really well and doesn't dry out my sensitive skin AT ALL. Another winner! Why can't EDS sell this to the US, tho? I hate having to get it elsewhere... |

love this as well! i always thought it was highly overated until i actually used it as recommended -- i.e., the compress. it's an absolute miracle worker in terms of nipping spots in the bud, especially new large cystic ones. i now have some in a little vial in my travel case so i'm never without it whilst travelling (when i *always* break out). love love love this stuff!!!
BTW, supposedly their toner/mister for normal/oily skin is a diluted version of the EP. |

question: is it really necessary to purchase both the O2 and the Emulsion Pure to heal angry blemishes? |
