So, the Sephora by me started to carry the CD line. I'd ordered a few things a couple of years ago, nothing really impressed me enough to re-order. However, she (or used to) do workshops at the awesome NY Open Center, so, for that, I figured I'd support her line and buy something.
I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to leave-in hair sprays. If it's out there, I've tried it. Right now, I use Solar Recover during the day and Dr. Hauschka Neem hair tonic at night.
First off, the Black Coconut smells great. I LOVE coconut smells and the CD is especially beachy and lovely. I added some jasmine EO and it smells like heaven. It doesn't give me the same moist feeling as the Solar Recover, I guess the oils are less potent, but, I decided to add it to the Neem and make a better smelling, more "powerful" blend. In this form, I'm quite happy and feel like I'm giving myself a nice treatment overnight.
So, two thumbs up for the leave-in. Now I want to experiment and try her hair oils |
