i could really use your help with this. i had a crying spell earlier and now have deep circles undr my eyes. as bad as they are now, they will be 10x worse tomorrow (anyone else have that problem or know why that is -- worse the next day?)
i can't wear concealer or any makeup on my undereye area. is there something non-makeup i can do -- maybe along the lines of tea bags or massage or compresses? |

Crying leaves you with puffy(baggy) eyes, it doesn't give dark circles. Lack of sleep or too much toxicity does though.
Get enough sleep and try to go to bed earlier than normal
Cool a used teabag (eyebright is great)and lay down with them set on your eyes. You can also soak a cotton ball and set that on there.
Use sunscreen daily and moisturize in the night with an undereye cream.(I use multiple ones)
Drink plenty of water.
Use a cold compress in the morning
Im in college so I dont get much or any sleep so trust me, I know. I use ice cubes in muslin in the mornings and when I get home, use the sunscreen & undereye creams too. |

Do you have access to St. Ives products? They make an eye and face gel with aloe and cucumber that works quickly to reduce puffing under my eyes from allergies. My guess if that it would work for crying puffies, too.
But more importantly, I hope you're feeling better from whatever made you cry. Hang in there. |

so0_flawless -- you're right. i took a closer look and the darkish circles i already have look bigger and darker because the area is puffy and more pronounced. thanks for the tips. i'll give them a try
LandB, I will check around for that product -- thanks

Isomers fast lift eye serum! Has worked for me with puffy eyes, and I hate to admit it, also crying.www.shopnbc.com or ebay. For a real quick fix, aloe gel always seems to work for me. |

FYI: I was told years ago not to put ice on your eyes, so be very careful when using ice even around the orbital bones (lots of little capillaries etc that can be damaged, vasoconstriction is bad near or within your eye). |

I had this happen to me not so long ago and what I found was really good was my MD Formulations Moisture Defense eye cream which actually has caffine in it and it reduced the puffiness significantly.
There would be a few eye creams with this kind of thing in it.
Aside from that, cucmber seems to work ok and I have heard that if you happen to have a haemmeroid cream around - it is supposed to work wonders for under the eyes. Sounds gross though.

I have been using Professional Solutions DCX Dark Circle Under Eye Serum for the past 2 months and I have to say this is one of my favourite products. Of course having said that I just ordered PSF's Phyto-Lift Cranberry Eye Gel for comparison!

Try a sample of the Remergent microcirculation therapy, it's a great pick me up. (And Hang in there). |

Make a cup of tea for you and someone else, and put the warm soggy tea bags on your eyes while drinking the tea. That will definately make you feel better and get rid of those puffy bags! |
