Could have been something that you ate? I found that I get them after I eat soy or those yummy edamame beans. So I avoid soy, it has phytoestrogens that is a dose of hormones.

For hormonal acne the only thing that works on my chin area is stuff with sulfur and clay- like Mario Badescu drying mask and the buffering lotion.

Yonka products also work well too.
I've had problems w acne at my chin area for like 20 years already, it must be genetic as my sister has the same issue and my mom at 65 still kind of does too.

I've been to derms a zillion times, tried everything except Accutane, as I only get a couple of really bad blemishes in the same area, but using a clay mask on the spots overnight works for me usually and I've done a ton of skin peels- not all at once but to get rid of blemish marks, so overall my skin is nice and w some makeup you can not tell too much.

I have tried everything including Accutane, what a mistake! That stuff should be banned. Dries everything out, including your eyes. Now I am on prescription eye drops. Eventually grew out of hormonal acne.
