I am right now on one of my yearly (summer) Dr. Hauschka trips, and I must again say: my skin has never looked better. My skintone is fresh and even, no flakes, no dry patches.
But why? Normally, I am using a combination of high-tech products for dry skin, and I am still struggling with dryness (I try to avoid masks and scrubs most of the time, as that seems to irritate).
My regime right now:
AM
Cleansing Cream
Toner
Moisturizing Day Cream to provide moisture, and on top Rose Cream
PM
Cleansing Milk
Toner
So how come my skin looks better with this no fuss, down to earth (and here even quite affordable) combination? Someone explain it to me, please! |

Hi Nemi - I think it's a case of less is more and your skin seems to love this. |

tisa,
It's not logical because it's not about logic. It is about advertising. You seem to believe advertising and the more expensive product equals a better product. This is not true. Your skin has shown you this but you don't seem to believe what you see. Some of the very best products are found in the drug store for very little money. |

I think your just using the products that are right for your skin. I have tried many lines over the years from cheap to the expensive and some worked OK and some didn't, or made my skin worse.
I don't think it's a matter of cost, at least not for me anyway, I think it's more a matter of what works for a person's particular skin type. I've used $6 foundation that looked better on me than $40 foundation.
I just stick with what works for my skin, if it's less expensive, great, if not oh well... |

I might be a victim of advertising, yes... But who isn't? I mostly stick to professional brands, not the ones you get in department stores.
I will try and stick to this regime at least as long as my skin doesn't get drier, and then I can rather spend the extra money on something else. |

You brought it done to what your skin needs. And when your skin gets dry/flaky try a few drops of Camillia or Squalene oil under your moiturizer. It works for me. |
